Long ago before the clans, before even Star clan, before even... cats were the lion, the leopard and the tiger. The were magical and had a role to play. The tiger duty was to mark every past and carry it on his pelt they were his stripes. The leopard was in charge of the present to keep thing at a current rate she was given spots to tell her how fast to keep the world turning, then finally the lion has a pelt to feel and control the future and the lion saw smaller felines, their descendents too free with law or order and kill one another. Knowing this he called the Tiger and the Leopard and told them of the fate that would be laid if they do not do something about this. So all three use their powers to enter the age of the cats. Thing were starting badly, but they saw a brave she-cat and her mate who show good hearts. they were both were expecting one kit.
They had an idea of using their magic to create a kit from one of them to create balance and order and maybe even unison. The tiger want to be the one because he knew his kit would be firm on the laws and the order and the clans would fear his words of law, but the leopard wanted to be the one she would have a kit gentle to the cats and grow a bond strong to unite them. The lion then suggested a wager. They would have a kit one each from them from the mother, and the kit who unites the clan will be the one who will care for them. They agreed. The lion kept the secret of what his kit would be like, he promise to tell when this was over. After the power of their magic and the birth of the four kits, the mother named her three kits for their beautiful pelts, the original kit was named Fang, the son of the tiger was named Shadow, the daughter of the leopard Willow, and the son of the lion Sun.
As they grew and became full grown the three magical ones, the lion, tiger and leopard came into their dream. "Three of you are bless. But one would bring the future of the feline kind into the bright light of hope." The lion inform. "You are given the power to keep order and law. We will need you three to become leaders, and in the end only one will be the leader of all." Tiger smiled. "We will teach one of our children that were born from us and teach them the powers that you have been born with." Leopard purred. They train them and mold them the way they should be. Shadow use his power to make the cats he chose to lead fear him, Willow use her power to connect with them, while Sun just waited and did nothing but lie on a mossy rock.
Eventually they both wanted their way to rule and it ended into a war. Between the brother and sister and the two clans. Many cats died and things became too deadly. "Now my son, save them." The lion whispered in his mind. "What is wrong with your way is you're too soft! You will eventually die!" Shadow growled as he claw her side in the moonlight sky. "While you are too hard on them!" She'd growled as his bit her jaw. Soon Sun flew into the sky with his large wings and use his power to defeat the two. He use both gentle touch and firm hand to create something even better, a whole bunch of different clans, each led by an mortal cat, he crreate the warrior, Star clan and the dark forest. He gave the job of his sister to reward the warriors with nine lives of leaders and rewards for the clan cats for their dedication. While the brother punished and steal the nine live of leader if by the medicine cats doing or by death.
The lion smirk and told them that his son was given the power of balance, that day forward the lion and his son kept order to the clans and their future.
