Selina's emerald eyes glowed in the darkness with her pleasure as she watched her babies playing with the toy mice her hero had brought them. She purred as she approached him. "You didn't have to do this."
"I know." A soft smile curved his lips. "I wanted to."
A glow flashed. They turned to the Batsignal. Catwoman turned back; Batman was gone. Reminiscing, she knelt to join her babies playing with the first toys they'd had since the explosion. She would never surrender to him. Yet her heart would always be his, and her joyful purr echoed forever in their lives.
