A Supernatural Fanfic.
Valentina brushed her hair behind her ear as she pressed the phone against it. It had been a day since she saw Daisy and was beginning to worry about her friend.
Daisy's brother picked up. "Hello?"
Valentina replied in her usual happy tone. She and Eric, Daisy's brother, were good friends. "Hey Eric! Mind putting Daisy on the phone?"
Eric sighed and Valentina imagined him running a hand through his curly-cue hair. "She's been asleep all day, this'll be a good excuse to wake her up."
Footsteps echoed as Eric navigated through his house to Daisy's room. Valentina heard Eric whisper a string of cusses. "She's not in here, which either means she's in the bathroom or out…"
Water.
Valentina could hear it from her end of the phone. Eric swore, this time loudly. "Not again, not again!"
It was eerie. Daisy was unstable, and one of the few people to survive multiple suicide attempts without permanent consequences. It sounded as though she was going for a new record.
"There's blood everywhere Val. Oh my… she's not breathing, there… there's no pulse." Eric's voice cracked. "She's gone."
Valentina dropped the phone and screamed.
That was the first trigger.
