A/N: My first ever fanfiction. I just got excited and decided to churn out a story. I will only complete this if people are genuinely interested in the story, because after all, I know my own story. Reviews are greatly appreciated, just remember that this is my first try at a story.
Muffet grew tired of waiting. She headed to the back room where she made all of her pastries with the help of her spider friends. At least she had them. She tried everything! She lowered her prices, risked paying for advertisements and even gave out free samples herself. But the humans just stayed away from her as if there was a bubble between them she couldn't pop. However, Muffet couldn't blame them. She would have done the same if she were human.
Her back touched a spider silken wall and she slid down to the floor, wrapping her 6 arms around her knees. She had the unluckiest track record, was always doomed to fail. Nothing ever went her way.
A silvery chime rang in the other room. Excited, Muffet jumped up and brushed herself off. Even if she was a mess, there was no point in looking like it.
She headed into her little shop and stood behind the counter, looking at the guest- no, guests! It was Sans and Papyrus, two of her usual's with… a human? They were smiling and laughing at San's horrible puns, and looked quite familiar. Was it... "Frisk?"
The said human looked up from the trio's conversation, and waved with a small smile. Muffet's eyes lit up at the sight of them and clasped her hands together, all six of them.
"Is there anything you would like to order?" Muffet asked hopefully. She knew Papyrus's answer, as he always ordered a cupcake with blue frosting and bone shaped sprinkles. When she first opened, he asked for that specifically and wouldn't take anything that was already made. Sans, however, was more of a wild card. He just chose whatever looked good to him that day.
Papyrus spoke up, "Oh, we just came to drop off Frisk. They wanted to see your bakery for themselves, so Sans and I opted bring them here." Sans just widened his ever-present grin as if confirming Papyrus's claim. Leaning in and cupping his mouth, Papyrus continued with "Although I wouldn't mind a cupcake, myself!"
Sans politely declined a pastry and Papyrus got his cupcake from one of the spiders on the ceiling. They quickly bustled out of the bakery, leaving Muffet alone with Frisk. Turning her attention to them, Muffet asked what they would like. She still felt bad for attacking them in the Underground, so she planned on giving Frisk a discount for whatever they asked for, as a sort of apology.
Their response took Muffet completely off guard.
"Your story."
