Okay this is my story um...it involves a death. It's also Merthur, I do not own Merlin BBC or the characters. But this is a drabble as you can tell by the little amount of words that are on it. I just posted it to see if anyone would read it, and then I could possibly find out if I should post more. So send a message or write a review.
A shaking breath escaped his lips as he looked down at the cold figure in his arms, the eyes losing slowly what made them Merlin's. They grew cold, almost as cold as the body. Tears began to well up in his eyes. 'No you have to remain, tall, this doesn't bother you.' he attempted to tell himself as the body grew more still, 'He's just a servant, there are a million others like him.' his father's voice began to play in his head. He shook his head, tears falling slowly onto the stone floor.
Merlin walked through the halls the prince only a few steps behind him, he smiled at the windows the windows that wanted to make him cry with how fragile they looked in the dim glow of daylight that could barely creep through the colored windows. They reached a door, huge and locked, stopping him from continuing his gawking. He watched the statues, they looked like beautiful angels, crying softy and noiseless into their hands. He wanted so much to reach out and touch them but something held him drew a hand to the door, the door that had the most beautiful mosaic on it. They way it made him want to caress the walls that seemed to crumble at his touch. He remained silent as he watched the stones, they glistened at the torch that was slowly making it's way done the hall. 'Merlin!' he turned quickly and everything was dark.
"Don't leave me." he whispered softly into the man's ear, but he was sure he was gone his body no longer warm, no longer showing any signs he could hear him. He clenched it tightly as he no longer tried to hold back the fear he should have shown, he wasn't able to protect him. Like he promised like he was told to do, his intake of breath was interrupted by a sob that came out unwillingly. He closed the man's eyes, no longer able to look into his eyes his cold eyes. "I should of been better for you." he said through his tears to the man in his arms that could no longer hear him.
