"Ya idjit. You were meant to send it back it not get let your brother get kidnapped."
Bobby said down the phone to me. I was just explain how a demon, Jane, managed to kidnap Dean while we where trying to exorcise her. It wasn't my fault that the devil trap didn't work for some reason. I guess the circle wasn't complete or something.

"I will find him and kill the demon. I promise Bobby." I told him down the phone.

"Yeah? 'Nd how ya gonna find him? Or kill it? Dean has the knife." Was the reply.

"I have my ways.." Was all I said. There was a stunned silence we all knew what I was talking about.

"Don't ya dare! Sam! If ya-" I hung up. Time to phone Ruby.

I knocked back the vial of blood Ruby had given me and stared at the desolate house. Dean was inside. How did I know? Ruby again. Damn I was way too dependent on her.

I walked up to the door and wasn't surprised to find it unlocked. I pushed it open with the barrel of my shot gun. Don't know why I took it. Force of habit I suppose.

Neither Dean or the demon where on the ground floor so I ventured upstairs. I opened the door to the first room at the top of my stairs. Dean was tied up in the middle of the room with a gag over his mouth. Alive thank God. I look around. There was no sign of any demons. So far so good. As I entered the room Dean looked up. It was impossible to tell if he was happy to see me or not.

"Dean! It's okay. I am here to save you." I tell him as I rush forwards. I noticed he was tied to the chair he was sitting on. I got out my knife and started to cut the bindings. I was about half way thought them when I heard a noise. I looked up and saw a demon. She.. it hissed at my. I stepped in front of Dean but noticed him start to strain the bindings.

Time to do what I do best. Disappoint my brothers. I focused all of my attention on the demon and held out my hand. Stupid really. If I had had more then I would just need to stare. A familiar pounding coursed though my brain. I forgot about it. Slowly the demon was regurgitated from the body.

It was gone.

I was out cold.

God only knows how long I was out, if he even bothers to know these things any longer. I looked around to see where I was. It didn't take me long to realise that I was in Bobby's panic room. To be honest that didn't surprise me. Dean would have rather died than for me to drink blood again and I would rather drink blood than him die. That is how we work. One other us would rather die to save the other then live with the guilt we could have done some thing.

"Why'd you do it Sammy?" Dean's voice came thought the small opening in the door.

"To save you." I croaked back. Being knocked out does nothing for your vocal chords.

"There are other ways! What about holy water? Iron? Salt?" Dean said annoyed.

"I- I wasn't thinking clearly. Why did they want you anyway?" I asked changing the subject.

"To get you. They were going to bargain my life in return for you to say yes to Lucifer. They were prepared but not enough for... Yeah..." Dean replied.

" Oh." There was a silence. The I said, "Why was there only one?"

"Cause the others had gone to get Lucifer or something. I don't know." There was a silence again. I didn't quite believe it. Why would they just have left Dean in the middle of the room with only rope bindings? But Dean wouldn't lie to me, would he?

I wanted out but I knew that was never going to happen. Still I tried my luck,

"Let me out?" There was an unamused laugh from Dean.

"You are on there until the blood is out of you , bitch."

All I could reply with was, "Jerk."
