She stormed into her room and slammed the door shut. She was enraged, trying to hold back the tears dwelling in her eyes. Damn him! Damn him a million times! \i0 She paced around her room, mad at him, so mad at him. Or maybe more mad at herself, for falling in love with such a man. She remembered someone telling her "Love is a blessing". For her, it was more like a curse. A curse that took over her life, and tried not to let go. Sometimes, he seemed so close... then so far, like a star that could never be reached.

Why did she even like him?! He was... he was a stupid, proud fool who was too busy to notice how much she... wanted him. Wanted him! Not just love, but desire, too! She was enraged. A man had never done so much in her life. Not even her old lover. Why? Maybe it was the evil glint in his eyes... or his smirk, or his well-formed, compact body. Or maybe it was the odd way she admired his attitude...

This had to stop! She couldn't hide this forever... she had always had things her way, why stop now? She stormed out of her room, her breathing getting quicker...\par She saw him. He was standing there, looking at the rustic-colored sky, as if waiting for something. Maybe a second chance in life, to accomplish the dreams that he always had, but were taken away...

He looked back, serious, as always. She was standing there, holding back tears. Her eyes angry and sad, at the same time. He looked at her. His look burned her skin. Rage took over her, and she couldn't hold back her tears...

She walked up to him, decided, knowing what to expect from this man. She was just inches away from his face. Tears rolled down her soft skin. He stared at her...

* Do you love me? *

She took his hand, a tear falling on it. She looked at his coal-black eyes. She hugged him.

* Or do you miss him? *

Her heart was beating fast. She was nervous, expecting to be pushed away. But she felt a strong arm go around her waist. She looked at him, surprised. His icy stare was now a warm one.

* I know how you feel... *

She started crying. She felt so lost, without hope. But there he was, holding her. He took her hair and gently brushed it away from her face.

She thought he would be cruel.

He was gentle.

He caressed her face and gently kissed her.

* Don't worry*

Just like in a dream. She felt her soul lighten up. She felt his hand wiping her tears away...

* It doesn't matter now...*

She felt his heart racing, just like hers. She felt like hugging him tight, and she did. She pressed her lips against his neck. He felt his energy rush through his veins, the way it did before a battle. But he tried to control it, or else he could hurt her.... so fragile compared to him. His skin was so smooth, she was impressed. He let out a slight groan. Suppresing his energy and power was harder than he thought. She protested weakly. Not much, though. She didn't care if her life fluttered away this very moment, as long as she was with him. She wished she could stop time...

As night left with the inevitable coming of daylight, she woke up, and looked beside her, but saw no one. Startled, she looked for him, but found him busy again, his same old self. She was a little dissapointed, but then she smiled, as she remembered how she got to see a side of him she might never see again.
