Chapter 1: An Explosive Introduction
The sound of alarms purged a mile radius of Hueco Mundo as a flash of red light followed by a large explosion from the side of Las Noches left a huge hole, the debris crumbled to the floor as a group of Hollows were attacking a single figure. The glint of a sword paired with the bony mask covering his left side of his face showed that he was obviously an arrancar. He quickly jumped into the air, spun around and a red orb of reiatsu pulsated at his finger tip as he readied a cero, without hesitation he fire the small blast, striking one of the hollows in the mask, bursting a small hole in the poor creature's head, which dripped for a moment as it swayed back and forth. The arrancar landed upright on all fours, his hair dropping to the floor as he glared up at the hollow. It swayed a few more times and then instantly began to regenerate the hole in it's head, little worm like tentacles swarming together in order to make new flesh in the hole's place. It looked good as new again and it let out a gruesome roar. From out of the smoke walked a human shaped hollow, it was much like an arrancar, but it's mask was yet to be broken, it's body was still discolored red and black and it still had hollow features, such as a tail and various spikes. It let out a laugh; it was obviously an adjuchas class hollow, or perhaps a new form of hollow not yet seen. It slowly began to speak in a half human half hollow voice.
"Ah, an arrancar... there haven't been many of you since that Aizen fellow... How delicious!" He let out a high pitched laugh of insanity as he put up his palm and red reiatsu swirled on each finger tip. Five small, powerful Ceros fired from these fingers towards the arrancar, whom leapt into the air and landed on top of the palace. "And it's very nice to meet you too, however, I have better things to do right now... so..." He held up his palm and a huge amount red reiatsu began to form into a giant ball, "Die!" He called out as he fired the grand cero. The odd hollow seemed shocked at the size of the ball and quickly put both palms out to try and stop it. The monstrosity of a cero fell downwards towards the hollow, casting a dark shadow over all of them. It would spell certain doom if it exploded. Before it touched the hollow's palms the arrancar suddenly pulled his sword from his side, still in its scabbard and disappeared for a second, another second later he was a few yards away from the hollow and the ball began to split. The hollow looked at him in terror."You idiot! You'll just kill yourself as well!" The hollow screamed at him, trying to cover the fear in his voice."No I won't… boom!" He finished the last sentence as the cero split and he disappeared, before the hollows could react an impact blast broke from the ball distracting them, followed by a trail of thick black gas. The hollows were left gagging in a black cloud of smoke. When the smoke cleared the arrancar was nowhere to be seen, but his laughter could be heard as his voiced echoed "Got you!""Curse that damned arrancar! I'll slaughter him for that!" The Hollow screamed out to everything around him, the other hollows began to let out roars and screeches as well to express their anger. Their prey had gotten away, or perhaps their predator?
