~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Evil was your companion tonight as your twin natures walked
down the road of dreams. The knowing one held back as your
unconscious was taken on a journey through an all-too-human
manifestation of hell. A decision between yourself and your
partner; lucid or subconscious, you would take the axe for
her, all too willingly --
It wasn't a coincidence that it was her voice that forced
you awake. You know it's not. And because it's her that's
pulled you away, you focus on her voice, making sense of the
demons that drive you, that invaded you. While darkness is
part of human nature, who can accept the alternative?
"It was a bad dream, Agent Doggett, but that's all it was."
It's the self that walks along the path of darkness who
reaches out to believe her. The self who knows better lies
dormant, patiently awaiting the day when you can confront
the night within yourself.
