Summary: Naruto rememers a scene in his life that made Ramen the second best.
Hi! My names Naruto Uzumaki! And you know what my most favorite thing in the world is? It's Ramen!....Well except that one time.... You know what? Instead of telling you what happened, I'll show you. Here you go!.....
A knock on my door suprised me that day and made me drop my cereal. "Jeez, can't people warn me before they go knocking?" I grumbled reaching for the lock and opening the door.
"What the hell do you wan...."I trailed off at what and who I saw.
"Sup Naruto," Sasuke calmly said inviting himself in and taking a seat on my couch.
"What are you doing here Teme?" I yelled. Sasuke was supposed to be gone. A missing ninja. When did he get back?!
"I wanted to come back....and see the one person I missed," Sasuke answered smirking like a cheshire cat.
"And who's that? Sakura?" I implored more into the name of the person.
"No you Dobe, I missed you, Sasuke said ruffling my messy locks.
Blushing, I ducked my head out of his reach. I felt the tears shining in my eyes.
"Why now?" I whispered softly.
"Because I couldn't stay away any longer than I already have," he answered, taking my hands and holding them. I felt my face grow hotter and tried to calm myself down.
He let go of my hands and opted out for my face. He leaned down and kissed my lips softly. "I love you Naruto."
I felt the tears slip out. "I love you too Sasuke."
And even years later, I have thought of that day as the best day of my life.
