Amber pulled the short stick out of Patricia's hand. When Amber saw that she had the smallest stick out of the bunch, she started to freak out. Amber couldn't go down in that little hole.

"No, not me! There are bugs, Alfie. Bugs! You know I don't do bugs."

"Okay, so?" Alfie asked in a 'What-do-you-want-me-to-do-about-it?' tone.

"You're my boyfriend; you should volunteer to go in for me! " Amber exclaimed.

"We broke up!" Alfie told Amber. She just looked at Alfie, expecting him to do it anyways.

Alfie didn't budge. He had broken up with Amber, and if she couldn't get over it, than that was her problem. Not his.

"I'm not going in there. You got the short stick, not me, so Bye-bye!" He explained.

Amber felt hot tears in her eyes. How could he just say that to her? If he was going to be a jerk, well, Amber didn't know what she was going to do, but she wasn't sticking around there any started to crawl towards the hole. She just, couldn't look at Alfie any longer, even if that meant that she had to crawl down that dusty, dark, bug infested hole. As Amber felt the dirt hit her perfectly manicured fingers, she cringed a little.

"Fine! Be that way!" Amber yelled at Alfie.

This is so gross, she thought.

As Amber kept crawling away from her friends, the tunnel became smaller and smaller; wait, she thought, it is getting smaller, it's starting to cave in!

Amber screamed.

"Help! Help, it's getting smaller! It's caving in!"

Alfie couldn't believe his ears. Amber was going to get trapped and he couldn't move!

Once more, Amber screamed. Alfie sprang into action. He went down the hole, grabbing at anything he could get away from her. Once Alfie could see a foot, he clawed dirt away even faster. When he could grab Amber's leg, he started to pull her out. Alfie drug Amber out of the hole as fast as he could. When he came close to edge, the other members of Sibuna grabbed their legs and pulled them out. Once Alfie and Amber stood up they grabbed each other, hugging tightly.

With Amber in Alfie's arms, he could finally say what he had wanted to say for a long time.

"Amber?" Amber pulled a teeny bit away, to look at him. Alfie continued, "Amber, I love you." Amber pulled away to look Alfie in the eyes. Amber had wanted Alfie to say that for a long time.

This is too good to be true.

"Really? Are you sure?"

Alfie smiled and said, "Yes, I, Alfie, am deeply in love with you, Amber. I know now, more than ever. After almost loosing you, I know." They kissed.

"Are you to done making out now?" Patricia asked the two love birds. Alfie pulled away, smiling, and said.

"Not quite, before continuing the kiss." After a moment they pulled back, still smiling.

Amber gasped, lightly smacking her forehead.

Alfie asked, "What's wrong, baby?"

Amber smiled a tiny bit at the endearment, before saying, "I almost forgot to say, it back. Alfie, I love you too." Alfie smiled a smile so big, it could give the Grinch a run for his money.

Alfie pulled Amber back into his arms.

Amber told him, "You don't know how long I have wanted to hear you say those words, boo."

Alfie asked, "Really?" having not really believing her.

Amber squashed those thoughts with her next statement. "Yeah, duhh. Why did you think that I didn't let us breakup."

It wasn't a question. Aflie had wondered, but he never thought that it was because Amber loved him. Alfie grinned. "How long have you loved me, exactly?"

Amber smiled cheekily before responding with, "How long have you loved me?"

"Yeah, yeah. You love one another," Patricia intruded Alfie's reply, annoyed. "Now are we going to get down that tunnel or not?"
