A Detective and A Light Bulb: Entry 1
Hakuba was going into his 'office' to look at Kid notes. He would be going over the notes so that he could prepare for the heist tonight. Glancing at his watch he noticed he only had one hour, fifty-one minutes, and ten seconds left before the heist began. Stepping into the office, he went to click the light.
Nothing happened.
He tried several times and got the same result.
Growling, he went to find another lightbulb to replace the busted one. He couldn't find the lightbulbs however.
After looking for a good while, he glanced at the watch again. Only thirty minutes and five seconds.
Finally finding a lightbulb, he quickly went to change it. Immediately following the changing and switching it on a shower of confetti and paper streamers followed suit. Not being able to figure out why, he looked around as a note floated to the ground. He quickly grabbed it and read it.
"Tantei-san, I thought you would appreciate my gift" Signed Kid
It took Hakuba a minute to realize that it was his birthday today and the Kid had remembered it. Looking at his watch again, he only had thirteen minutes and thirteen seconds left. He quickly left the room and headed off towards the heist.
