In. Out. Breathe! She sternly commanded herself. This was the day. She could feel it in her bones. This was the day of the Final Battle. She had promised to fight and fight she shall.
Ginny Weasley always knew she would fight for the light, but now knowing what she knew now, she didn't know if she had the heart to. Knowing now that deep inside her a little person was growing, knowing that soon Harry Potter would have a child, and so would she.
Ginny was panicking, what if she died? What if she left this world without being a mother? Or a wife? What is Harry died? What if their child never knew it's father?
No! Don't think about that. She reprimanded herself, but not wanting it to be a surprise.
"Ginny?" Harry asked softly from the doorway, "It's time love." He continued sadly.
"Ok, lets get this over with." Ginny said sadly.
They walked, hand in hand out the door, through the front hall, and out the beautiful towering doors to the battlefield. This was going to be where some of the people she knew and loved were going to die. Maybe even where she would die.
Then in a cacophony of noise that battle began! Spells were being fired every which way. People were dropping like flies.
"Stupefy!" Ginny shouts as a deatheater raises it's wand towards Luna.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Ginny heard it being shouted and turned to see just in time, Harry pushes her out of the way and takes the spell.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Ginny screams, ignoring the battle around her, she falls to her knees and weeps on Harry's chest. He's gone! Was the only thought swirling around her mind, when miraculously, the chest she was crying on started to rise and fall again.
Ginny sits up and covers her mouth to keep from screaming. He was alive!
"Harry!" She screams throwing her arms around his neck, kissing and crying.
"I'm here, I'm here!" Harry says fiercely, yet soothingly.
"You died! You were lying dead right here!" Ginny cries.
"You saved me." Harry says, "I could feel myself drifting into some light and your love pulled me back. You kept me here." He says.
Ginny didn't care how, she just wanted him here. The battle ends as a gold light pulses from them, banishing any deatheaters from the grounds. Harry and Ginny's love, that's what made battle stop. And that's what held them together.
