Rain

It always starts with Rain, it sums up the mood. Dark deeply emotional and always a sign that something bad is about to happen.

Ash stood in front of a bloody corpse, the body was now mutilated beyond recognition, well he had to carve him up otherwise it would of killed him. The rain washed the blood down out of his hair and over his face, his dark eyes never blinking, never taking their weary battle hardened glare off the twitching mass of flesh. Ash knew all to well that Deadites have the power to re-animate their host bodies. This was apparent with his Evil Twin during his brief stay in the middle ages.

Ash was tired, he was tired of fighting undead corpses everyday, tired of never getting the chance to lead a normal life, tired of never meeting the right girl because he always ended up killing her because she became a deadite. He didn't even know who he was anymore, everyday when he looked into the mirror he saw a scared one handed man, no life, a buried past and no possible happy future.

'Is this what I have to spent the rest of my existence doing? Moping bodies up for the rest of my days? I'm tired of this shattered life I lead, I want one of my own'

The next day began as any, Ash would open up the s-mart, come bang on 11 o clock a deadite would show up and He would spout on about feasting on your souls, end of the world, blah blah blah. Going through the regular routine of beating the crap outta the undead assailant. But this day was different, Instead of raising his chainsaw high above his head and delivering the final death blow, Ash looked into the glaring white eyes of his foe, 'No more'.

And with that he threw down his chainsaw. Turned his back and walked towards the exit.

'You can't escape us. Wherever you go, wherever you hide we will find you'

Ash said nothing, he didn't flinch, he didn't even look back as he walked out the door.

The hero from the sky, had just quit saving humanity destinies
