I'm sorry it's a very short prologue. I didn't want to spoil that much.
Prologue
Len Kagamine was pronounced dead on March 2, 1978.
No one had a single clue about what the cause of his death might have been; signs of scratches or bruises on his body were nonexistent—his complexion remained impeccable, albeit becoming pale in color every second the doctors glanced towards him. Although the source of his demise remained unknown, he barely had anything to accurately be called a heartbeat.
And, as a result, Len's short, monotonous fourteen-year life ceased out of existence.
Though a bit suspicious, the file for Len Kagamine was not in the hospital records. Further researching outside the hospital's field, the officials' seek for the boy's history deemed futile when they found out no records were ever kept for him.
It seemed nonsensical since he was found lacking in air and groaning in pain inside a mansion. Obviously, his parents must have been wealthy in order to afford such an outrageously large and spacious house. Being rich meant a high status and the honor of being well-known, which was not the case if a local hospital did not know who the parents of this prosperous young boy were.
The most peculiar thing was that no one in his neighborhood had ever heard of him. They barely had an idea that a family resided in the large, yet somewhat dark house.
On Thursday, March 4, the day Len Kagamine was to be sent out of the hospital to be buried, the doctors walked into room 207 and noticed something was off. Actually, the word "off" was an understatement, since the patient was not in the room!
Alarmed, doctors and detectives went on a rapid search for the boy. Skeptical if Len Kagamine was actually dead, officials looked all over for his body.
"Have you heard of the dead runaway?"
"I have. What if he was actually a zombie?"
Rumors arose throughout the town, pressuring the detectives to pick up the pace and hurry to find him.
Surprisingly, the last place they went to was the family's mansion. Just as vacant as they left it, the search team swiftly went to work. After a year of failed attempts at DNA analysis, the entire party decided to call quits and declare Len Kagamine offically dead on March 2, 1979—leaving the cause of death to be a mystery. Truth be told, no one would suspect his body being kept inside a closet...
Oh. This is gonna be fun.
i promise to make the next chapters longer by a significant amount.
so tell me what you think—do you think it'll be an interesting story?
