Introduction.

The guild was as noisy as always, but that's no surprise. Of course, there were the occasional 'OH MY GOD HELP I'M GOING TO ACTUALLY DIE,' but that's also no surprise. Yes, after everything that they had been through, Fairy Tail was still the same.
Not that the whole city enjoyed the ruckus. There would always be grumpy old men who just want to get their sleep.
Okay, back to what I was saying.
Hi. My name's Lucy Heartfilia and I'm a proud member of Fiore's one and only Fairy Tail. Now, the story I'm about to tell might not completely be such a surprise, considering all that's happened these past years, but I'd still like to tell you.
I like this story, after all. It's a funny one, I promise. It had ups and downs and I loved every moment of it.
Alright. So, it started on a slightly abnormal day from the rest…
"Natsu! How many times do I have to tell you to at least try avoiding me in your constant fights with Gray!"
The male glanced at me before punching his friend (thought he'd never admit it) across the guild hall. "Oh! Come on, Luce! Don't be such a worry-wart! I got it handled! It's not gonna kill you or anything!"
I crossed my arms before frowning at him. "That is not a usable excuse to just drag me into the path of your stupid fire."
"Hey! So not stupid! It's awesome!" He walks over to me and pouts. "That's mean. Take it back."
I turn away. "Nope. Not until you promise."
Natsu groaned. Happy flew over to us to see what all the commotion was about. "Fine. I promise I'll stop dragging you into my fights."
"Okay," I said simply. "I take it back."
His face started to break into a grin. "You take what back?"
"What I said."
"Which was?"
"That your flames are stupid."
"So…?"
"So?" I ask back.
"What are you saying?" He questioned me. I bet he just wanted to hear the words come out my mouth.
I sighed at his excited expression and rolled my eyes. "No, Natsu, your flames are not stupid. They are the best in the entire world."
He grinned at me and kissed my cheek before running off to continue his quarrel with Gray.
Wait.
Backtrack.
What?
"Ooh…" Someone hummed from beside me. "What was that, Lucy?" the person asked me.
I faced Mira and blushed. "I-I don't know. Did that just happen?" My hand trailed up to touch the side of my face and I crinkle my nose. "It's probably just another Natsu thing. Nothing to get worked up about," I tell her, trying to convince myself more.
She huffed and placed her hands on her hips. "Lucy, Lucy, Lucy, you are absolutely-"
"DELIVERY FROM THE COUNCIL!" a male calls out annoyingly.
I saw Master from the corner of my eye, bouncing down the steps from his office to pick up the package. "The council? Are you sure?"
The unnamed man shrugged. "I'm just the delivery-boy, dude. I don't know. I read, drive, and drop."
Master raised a brow. "Okay. Well, thank you. I'm sure you have more things to deliver. Sorry for stopping you."
"Whatever, man." The guy left.
"I usually get a notice before they send anything to me… How strange…"
Master picked up the package and walked towards me and Mirajane. "Could I have something to open this with?" A small blade was thrown at him and he caught it, immediately slicing open the box.
I nervously looked over his shoulder to see what was inside. "Is that a lacrima? Why would they send us that?"
He stepped over to the side. "Take a look for yourself. What do you think?"
I took out the small object and tossed it around. "It feels like normal, Master. Don't make it sound more exciting than it is." My fingers trailed over the device. "Could I try to activate it?"
He nodded and I searched for something that could make it work. "It's not going to explode or anything, right?" I looked at him while I still looked. "I mean, anything could happen. They wouldn't send us something that dangerous, right?"
"I doubt it."
And in a split second, a shock of lightning coursed through my body. It was probably the lacrima, to be honest. A light flashed and I saw time frozen as if it were covered in ice. It flashed again and I blinked.
I knew I passed out after that. I wasn't so sure what happened during the time I was out and when I woke back up.
I mean, after that I was met with the strangest pair of eyes, but had still looked so familiar. Not long after, a small voice that made me want to scream in terror and hug the carrier tightly at the same time. And then came the jaw-dropper.
"Hey, we came to join Fairy Tail."
