Title: Just Fall
Summary: Ginny ran away from love. All the way to Mexico.
Disclaimer: I own the shop keeper. And those pretty blue sandles.
Author's Notes: I should really stop watching daytime tv. The Spanish Soap Operas are not my friend.

She really didn't belong here in Mexico. Anyone could tell. Even after three months her skin was still pale and freckled. Her hair was the same red, although it had lightened from orange to copper. And she still stumbled over her words. She knew what to say, she just had a hard time saying it.
"No, no. I deseo los azules." /No, no. I want the blue ones./ Ginny said, shaking her head. She pointed at the blue sandals. "El color rosados parece malo con mi pelo." /The pink looks bad with my hair./
"Ah, sí!" /Ah, yes!/ The plump Latina nodded, her black eyes shining. "¿Cualquier cosa más?" /Anything more?/
Ginny shook her head again. "No. Gracias." /No. Thank you./
The shop assistant put the blue sandles into a bag. "Ciento y ocho Pesos." /One hundred and eight Pesos./
"Gracias." /Thank you./ Ginny said again, handing over the correct amount. "Por favor." /Very much./
"Tenga un día agradable." /Have a nice day./
Ginny left the shop, clutching her bag. She was sure Hermione would love the blue sandles. That was all her gift shopping done, and she really should go home. But...she was scared.
Sighing, the redhead made her way to one of the coffee shops that lined the bustling street, and sat down at a table, dropping her head into her hands with a whimper.
"¿Es algo incorrecto, senorita?" A lilting male voice asked. /Is something wrong, miss?/
Ginny didn't raise her head. Right now she didn't want to encourage any male company, not even from the guy she'd loved for as long as she could remember. "No." /No./ She said wearily, before changing her mind. "Si. ¿Cómo usted para el amar alguien?" /Yes. How do you stop loving someone?/
"Usted no puede." /You can't./ The man said.
"¿Pero por qué? ¡Seguramente usted debe poder controlar quién usted ama!" /But why? Surely you should be able to control who you love!/ Ginny wailed.
"Usted no puede ayudar a quién usted ama. A veces caída usted." /You cannot help who you love. Sometimes you just fall./ The man said softly.
Those words rang a bell in Ginny's mind. She looked up, surprised to see Harry. Unlike her, he looked like he belonged here in Mexico. His skin was the same dark colour as the natives, as was his hair. Only his brilliant eyes set him apart. "Harry? What are you doing here?" She whispered.
Harry sat down opposite her. "Last time I told you I loved you, you ran away. I followed. I'll follow you to the ends of the earth, Ginny. Please, will you let me?"
Ginny sighed. "Yes. I love you too. I was just so scared. You shouldn't love me. I'm your best friend's little sister. Scrawny, clumsy little Ginny Weasley. You're supposed to fall in love with a beautiful, intelligent, successful woman."
"You're all of those things and more, Ginny." Harry said. "You know me. You know my faults and my weaknesses. I know I can trust you with them. And I don't care who you think I should have fallen in love with. You're the one I did fall in love with. And you're the one I'll love until after death. So come home? Your family misses you very much."
Ginny nodded. "It's time."
