Hiyori scowled, face turned towards the window so she wouldn't have to look the blonde jerk in the face. Shinji lounged about lazily, not even sparing a glance. She pouted, skinny arms crossed over her chest, amber eyes dark with anger, a scowl on her freckled face, and her fang tooth poking out between her lips
Shinji sighed at the little girl sulking in the corner. "Hiyori…" he said. The girl ignored him. As per usual. It was a risky game Shinji was playing here. If he made the wrong move, her amber eyes would flare up and he would only be rewarded with an even angrier Hiyori and a sandal print on his face.
The blonde ran a finger through his hair and sighed. "C'mon Hiyori. It ain't that bad. Just 'cuz you didn' get ta stay in a compartment wit' the others, dun' mean ya can sulk the whole way ta Hogwarts." The girl didn't say anything. Lisa, Kensei, Mashiro, he, and Hiyori were the only ones who were going to Hogwarts to protect the school from Voldemort. The old man who had hired them said something about transfer students so…here they were. Hachi, Rose, and Love had opted to stay and hold the fort.
The train had left only minutes ago and Hiyori was already in her pouty mood. The compartment door slid open with a thud and both Shinji and Hiyori turned to look. There was a group of three there, a bushy-haired girl, a red-headed teen, and a black-haired boy. Shinji turned to look at them, eyes half closed, a toothy smile plastered on his face. The three looked taken aback.
Hiyori smacked him with her sandal. "Stop staring at 'em, you lewd!" she shouted. Shinji moved to protect his heads.
The three looked stunned. Hiyori turned her attention to them. "Ya gonna stand there or ya gonna sit?" she asked sarcastically. The three motioned to sit.
"Hiyori Sarugaki," the three turned with wide-eyed expressions. Humans, wizards, whatever. All the same. She sighed loudly. "When someone tells ya their name, yer supposed ta say yer own name," she said in a 'duh' sort of voice.
"Hermione Granger,"
"Ron Weasley,"
"Harry Potter," they waited for signs of recognition. All the girl did was kick the blonde guy in the shin. They winced at the dull thud it made.
"Shinji Hirako," he muttered darkly, glaring at Hiyori who shot him a wicked grin. The three sat in surprised silence.
"So…" Hiyori tried breaking the silence, "How do ya do?" she said awkwardly. The silence reigned.
"Well Hiyori, looks like ye've made a couple 'a gay babies," Shinji joked. A minute later, he was crouched in the corner, holding his bleeding nose. Hiyori regarded the newcomers.
"Umm…is Shinji going to be alright?" the girl, Hermione, asked worriedly. Hiyori cast a glance at the blonde huddled in the corner, trying in vain to stop the bleeding.
"Eh…we do this all the time. He's a cap—really strong where we come from," she said hurriedly to cover up her mistake. "Oi, Shinji! Get your ass up and stop acting like a cowardy bitch, you dickhead!"
The trio sat, shocked. The little girl snorted. "What? Too mature words for you?" Harry, Ron and Hermione continued to stare in shock and the little girl scoffed and plopped back down on the seat, fang sticking out from between her lips.
"Che. Pansies," she muttered darkly. Harry bristled.
"Hey! We've been through a lot! More than you or Shinji or even both of you put together!" he shouted at her. She looked unfazed.
"Yeah….right…" she said sarcastically. She rolled her amber eyes in a wide circle.
At that moment, a familiar sneery face poked into the compartment. "Oh. If it isn't Potter, the poor Weasley and the Mudblood," Ron's face was red with anger and Hermione was holding him back. "Eh? And who are you two? A little monkey-faced kid and some old guy with strange teeth?" He smirked.
"Eh?"
Shit, Shinji thought.
