I do things like these so unexpectedly.
I actually got this idea while talking to Haruka-eomma.
Summer break, the perfect time to take a break from all the homework and have fun in the beach. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to a certain green haired boy.
"Hey, Sanjou-kun," Tadase called out to Kairi, who turned his head and pushed his glasses up. Tadase was with Nagihiko, his succeeding Jack chair.
"Ah, King, Jack." Kairi was still polite as ever. His two seniors had already caught up to him as they began walking together. They were quiet on the way, until Nagihiko spoke.
"So, what are you guys doing for summer break?" He asked, trying to start a conversation. "I'm going to the beach sometime this weekend. Any of you guys want to come?"
Tadase was the first to answer, saying, "I'm sorry, Fujisaki-kun. I already planned a family trip for this week."
Kairi, being the progressive one, answered, "I mustn't slack off from studying, so I cannot go." As soon as he said this, the eyes of his seniors were instantly on him.
"But... But it's summer break. It's okay to slack off," Tadase said slowly, staring at Nagihiko, who nodded, and back at Kairi.
"I'm sorry, I mustn't slack off." And with that, Kairi stalked off, leaving two bewildered 15 year olds. Kairi, however, wasn't off to go home, but to the library to study.
"It's like this every year," Nagihiko said, scratching the back of his head. "What a progressive guy he is."
I actually wrote this because Ruka-eomma and I were talking about studying together during the summer, and not being slackers. So yeah, I guess I can dedicate this to her. Peace~
