Bella, don't forget your lunch" called Renee from the kitchen. Bella walked in, her backpack clinging on one shoulder.

"Mom, I told you, I'm going to buy my lunch from now on" Bella said, about to rush out the door.

"I'm sorry, honey, I guess I forgot" Renee frowned, seeming a bit upset that her only step daughter was refusing her tuna melt sandwich on whole wheat.

"Ok" Bella sighed, "But this is the last time."

"Terrific" Renee exclaimed, giving the short brunette the brown bagged sandwich. Bella took the bag and rushed for the door, "Wait, aren't you forgetting something, Missy?"

Bella walked back and planted a kiss on her step mother's cheek, it seemed a bit odd still doing this at her age but she owed a lot to Renee for being there when she really needed someone to talk to and be a mom. Renee kissed her back, it was a little wet, Bella winced, she wiped her wet cheek and walked outside to her truck.

"Have a good day, Bells!" Renee said a little too late.

Bella was confronted by her friends in the school parking lot as she climbed out of her rusty, old truck.

"Nice of you to come" Jessica said cynically.

"Bella, what took you so long? Kissing your step mother goodbye?" Mike laughed.

"Yeah, sure, Mike" Bella said, laughing it off awkwardly as just a joke even though that was one of the reasons that really did hold her up that morning; it was unfair how her circle of friends made fun of her because of how close she was with her step mom Renee, she was like her best friend in the whole world. The worst of it had to be some of the lewd comments she overheard the boys say about Renee being a milf and thinking they had a shot with her. The bell rang and the teens went their separate ways, Bella got on with her day and at one point actually couldn't wait to get home to Renee, not hanging out with her friends would be okay. She thought about that beautiful smile of hers whenever they had their talks, her laugh and her humour.

She was so glad when the final bell rang, with no more than a wave goodbye to her close friends, she hopped into her truck and headed home. Her loving step mother was in the kitchen, the same place she had left her that morning.

"Hi" Bella said cheerfully.

"Hi, sweetheart!" Renee said with wide eyes, "I thought you'd be seeing your friends."

"Yeah, well I thought we could maybe spend some time together tonight. Dad won't be home until late."

"Okay, that would be fun" Renee said as she tended to the oven.

"I don't have that much homework, so we can do whatever"

"Sure, Bells" Renee said with that beautiful smile Bella loved to see, "Oh and I did your laundry, I put it on your bed."

"Oh, thanks" Bella said on the way to her room.

She started putting her clothes away, all that she had left were her unmentionables, only something was off; as she put away the usual panties and bras, she came across a bra she had never seen before. It was a baby blue, D-cup bra, bigger than any of Bella's, she clued in that Renee must have mixed in her laundry by mistake. She giddily and put the bra against her chest with her shirt still on to compare. Renee called her to the table for dinner, interrupting her playing around.

She walked into the kitchen with the bra, Renee giggled at the sight of it, "Oh, sorry about that, hon" she said snatching it from her.

"That's okay, what's for dinner?" asked Bella.

"Your favourite, pasta."

The two had a long talk about school and boys and anything else that was on Bella's or Renee's mind. Just when things seemed like they were in store for a quiet evening, the front door opened, Bella's dad Charlie was home; Bella knew for sure he would be taking over the television for sports and the weather, a movie would be out and there wasn't much else to do.

"Don't worry, Bells, we can try another night, at least we got to talk" Renee said with her beautiful smile once more. Bella exchanged her own signature smile. She couldn't wait to spend some more quality time with her step mom.
