"You enjoyed yourself?" Mandrake asked Venus, who sat on his bed. The two had just gone on their first date.

"Yep! It was a lot of fun!" The pale girl nodded. She then flopped down face-up on his bed. "Boy, that freak-out from earlier wiped me out."

During their date, she had told Mandrake about Scorpio, her ex-boyfriend. He had physically, and verbally, abused Venus out of anger from being rejected by her twin sister, Mars. When they were on their way back home, she realized that he might've still been alive, and had a freak-out, worrying that he'd find her, and kill Mandrake. Mandrake managed to calm her down, while promising that he'll protect her from Scorpio, not caring if he got hurt.

The Boggan leader smiled warmly at her.

"I think I may need a few-minutes nap," She piped up tiredly.

"That's fine," Mandrake assured her.

"Okay, it'll only be a few minutes," Venus said tiredly. She took off her tiara, necklace, gloves, and shoes, but left her dress on. "You think you can stay with me? In case I have nightmares with... you-know-who?" She asked timidly.

"Of course I will," Mandrake promised.

Venus smiled gratefully, "Thanks. Oh!" She headed over to her closet and took out a bat cloak exactly like Mandrake's. "This always helps me sleep good."

The Boggan leader was still smiling at her. Venus giggled, putting the bat cloak over her head and shoulders, as she laid back on the bed, with Mandrake relaxing next to her as she drifted off.

The pale girl slept on her side, facing him. Mandrake smiled warmly as she slept peacefully, as he pulled her into a hug, making her smile in her sleep. He smiled warmly as the black and green-haired angel slept silently.

Mandrake kissed her forehead, as she giggled and blushed cutely.

"I love you so much," He whispered devotedly as Venus blushed harder, putting her small hand on his shoulder.

Mandrake smiled as she just slept silently, while he still embraced her. Venus smiled bigger, having a nice dream, and sighed happily, snuggling her face on his chest. The Boggan leader was still smiling at the sleeping beauty.

A few minutes later, Mandrake was still embracing Venus, who slowly started to wake up.

"Have a good nap, love?" He asked her.

"Yep. I had the nicest dream too," She yawned as she rubbed her sleepy eyes.

"Good, I'm glad," Mandrake smiled.

"Here's what happened." Venus blushed and stood on the floor, then mimed some ballroom dances, making Mandrake smile even more. "It was so romantic," Venus sighed happily as she sat next to him.

"It sounds like it," The Boggan Leader said. Venus giggled as he smiled at her. She always had a cute laugh.

"And you," Venus poked his ribs teasingly, "were quite a good dancer," She giggled.

"I see."

"I wish it was real, though," Venus sighed, "It was so great."

"I could make it real later if you like," Mandrake offered.

"Really?" Venus said, smiling. "Yep, really," He smiled back.

"Th-thanks! You're the best!" The pale girl hugged him excitedly. The Boggan Leader hugged her back.

"I don't really remember where my dream took place, but it doesn't matter," Venus shrugged, "Just as long as it's just me and you."

"Alright then," Mandrake smiled warmly at her.
