Danny woke up to pure pain. His head hurt like hell and just moving was a huge chore to do. What did i do last night? he wondered as someone knocked on his door. "Come in." he said.
"Danny, you have to get up for school. Your father and I can't have you stay home today." his mom told him gently.
"Okay." Danny waited until his mom left the room before getting up. He got dressed and went downstairs. "Bye guys, see ya after school."
Sam and Tucker caught up to him in the halls of Casper High school.
"Hey man, what's with the long face?" Tucker asked.
"How can I not get upset since I got my powers?" Danny snapped.
"Chill Danny, he just asked" Sam said.
Danny sighed. "Sorry Tuck, I didn't mean to snap at you."
The school bell rang and the trio walked to class.
"Well mister Fenton, you're actually here on time." Mr. Lancer said as Danny sat down. "As I was saying, we have a new student joining us today." Lancer nodded to the girl standing next to him.
The girl had black, ebony hair that reached her waist and crystal blue eyes. She was wearing a white top that didn't have a right sleeve and jeans that hugged her curves appropriately with high heels. "My name is Alesa Rose Phillips. I'm glad to be in the same class as you guys." she said casually, as if she knew everyone in the class.
"Alesa, you may sit next to mister Fenton." Lancer told her, pointing to a seat next to Danny.
That girl is weird, who talks to a bunch of unknown people as if she knows them? Danny thought as Alesa sat next to him and smiled at him. There's something up with this chick, and I'm going to find out what it is.
