~ITS GOOD TO BE BACK~
Chapter 1: Memories and Thoughts
Outside the windows of the girl dormitories in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry you could see what many people would call a perfect masterpiece. The lake shimmered and could be mistaken for a (VERY) large mirror. The Quidditch field looked magnificent with the sun shinning on the new looking hoops, and even if you where inside you could tell that the sweet and fresh smell of the grass could be smelt a mile away. All in all it was a perfect day. HOLD IT. well maybe not.
Up in the 7th Year Gryffindor girl Dormitory Lily Evans sat just looking at the peaceful seen, thinking hard. Lily was eighteen (and a full licenses witch in one day), beautiful (She had beautiful Auburn hair that she liked to leave hung loose, jade coloured eyes and a perfect body shape that everyone wanted though she didn't see what was so good about her shape.), nice, kind, smart, the greatest friend any one could have and lets not mention a witch! And not one of those fairy tale ones muggles (non magic folk) thought of that had large noses and warts, but a real witch. She had great magical powers that she wasn't even aware of yet and would learn in the future to come.
Lily's though were clouded with different emotions, happiness, excitement, sadness, fear were just some. You see tomorrow was her last day at Hogwarts, and even though she was exited about graduating she was very sad that that she would have to leave her beloved home of 7 years and maybe never set eyes on it again (how wrong she was.).
Hogwarts had become her real home after her parents mysteriously disappeared in her 4th year. No one knew where they went and no bodies were found. Lily loved her parents dearly and on the news of their disappearance she had become very depressed. She would not eat and wouldn't talk to even her closest friends (Norah Thomas, Amanda Lee, Arabella Figg, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, and [of course] James Potter).
Yet finally James (who was more of a closer friend than the others) and the others made her come around. So since her parents were gone she had to stay with her 20 year old sister who envied Lily for her magical abilities and soon started to form the idea that anything out of the ordinary is considered 'freakish', including Lily. So Lily detested living with her sister during the summer and naturally felt that Hogwarts was her home.
Lily was filled with memories of all the funny and exiting things during her years in Hogwarts. 'I am never going to see the Friday prankfest of Snape anymore', thought Lily. Lily knew that even though she had her life planned she couldn't but help feel a tiny sadness that gave her the feeling that something was missing from her life. 'Will I ever see all of my friends again? Will we keep in touch?!.', Lily thought sadly. 'Well all I know is that tomorrow is the end of my life at Hogwarts but the beginning of a bigger life in the outside world', was the only good motivation Lily gave to herself.
So she got up and left the empty dormitory and went downstairs to see her friends in the common room who probably were feeling as gloomy as her.
A/N: So what does everyone think? Its my first Fic so please bear with me!! Lol! It probably sucks aye?! Well please Review!!!
