Rapunzel looked up from the world atlas and grinned widely at her companion, who had an easy smile on his face, and his cheek cupped in his hand. He didn't even hear the girl; he'd been watching her and listening to her as if she was the most beautiful thing in the world…which, in his opinion, she was.
"Eugene…earth to Flynn?"
"Huh?" Rapunzel giggled.
"Something wrong? You were staring at me." Eugene smiled, and a daydreamy light entered his eyes.
"Nope, I'm fine. You're just so darn cute." Rapunzel giggled again and blushed.
