Hey guys (and gals), so here I my attempt of a "Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls z" story. To be honest I actually got this idea from a dream. Oh in this story the girls do not have powers but they have weapons. They do not remember being the ppgz completely. Same goes for the boys except for one. You can guess that already. I thought it would give it a twist. Hope you like. And please review. Btw they are all in high school. This is mainly greens but there are some reds and blues.
Kaoru pov
"Kaoru-chan." I heard Miyako say while she and Momoko were running to catch up to me.
I was on my way to gym. We all have the same classes but they took forever so I left them. When they finally caught up we were already at the gym. We walked inside and lined up.
"Alright everyone. Today is going to be a free day. Do whatever you want." Coach said.
Everyone cheered and went off to do their respective thing. I wonder why coach let us have a free day. He always makes us do something. He is even letting people sit on the sidelines and do nothing. Strange.
Momoko, Miyako and I walked over to the bleachers. I wanted to play basketball but two things stopped me. One, my friends do not know how to play and two the Rowdyruff boys were already playing. And I really don't feel like playing with them.
"Hey Kaoru, why aren't you playing something?" Momoko asked.
"Because there is nothing else to play besides basketball and the boys are already playing that." I replied in a bored tone. Miyako was about to reply but the basketball hit her head.
"Ouch. That hurt." Miyako said like a little kid. I was about to rip off their head, whoever threw the ball but then Boomer and Brick ran over.
"I'm so sorry Miyako-chan. Brick knocked it out my hands when I wasn't looking." Boomer said quickly.
"Sorry Miyako." Brick said softly.
Weird Brick said sorry. And he was quiet. Wait where is Butch?
"Dudes what's taking so long to say sorry? Come on." Butch said. It looks my question was answered.
"Sorry Butch." They both said.
This is too weird. First coach lets us do whatever we want then Brick is quiet, now the boys are apologizing and not arguing with Butch. What in the world is going on? I looked at my friends and I can tell that they are wondering the same thing.
"What is going on?" I shouted.
"Yeah, why are you guys acting so weird all of a sudden?" Momoko added.
The boys looked at each other and nodded.
"Didn't you know? The king is returning." Butch said with an evil smirk.
"What king?" Miyako asked. Momoko and I nodded in agreement.
"This king is different than any other king you know." Brick stated with a slight smirk.
"This is the king of all evil and has major power." Boomer added with a big evil grin.
"He can take down anybody especially three weak goody-two-shoes like you girls." They all said.
Why I ought to kill those boys for calling us weak. But I must admit I am intrigued by their statements. It seems like the boys know more than they are telling.
"You really think we would believe that." Momoko said in her know it all voice.
"Yeah we are not stupid." Miyako said.
I for one do believe the boys. It seems like Butch knew this because he said with a smirk, "What about you Kaoru? Do you not believe us?"
For some reason my heartbeat sped up. His smirk made me melt inside. Eww did I just say that? What is wrong with me?
"I believe you." I mumbled. I was hoping my friends did not hear me but luck was not on my side.
"WHAT!" They screamed then they fell anime style. The boys on the other hand smiled at me.
"You're a smart one Kaoru." Butch said. I felt myself start to blush.
Why do I feel so girly when he speaks to me? I mean I've like bad boys before but Butch is like a new level. Him and his brothers cause so much trouble and do not even have powers. But they sure are good with weapons. Our battles prove that.
"I have two questions though. Why did he leave and why did he return now?" I asked.
"Well the answers to those questions go hand in hand. He left because he was defeated and his powers were taken away. He returned because his powers are now restored and he is on a mission." Butch answered.
Butch's response made me more curious. Before I could ask more questions Brick said, "Now I know you probably have more questions but that is all we can tell you."
Just then the bell ranged and the boys left. We girls started walking towards the lunchroom. I knew my friends had questions for me, but my silence made it clear that I really did not want to talk about what just happened.
We got our lunch and sat down. Momoko and Miyako constantly kept talking but I was too busy thinking to listen.
Who is this king exactly? Why are the boys the only ones that know about him? How powerful is he really? How was his powers taken away? Who defeated him? How did his powers return? What is his mission? What does any of this have to do with the boys' strange behavior? And for some reason, why is Butch acting so different around me?
