"Alright, you lot have been good of late," Sebastian announced. "So I made Chocolate mousse for everyone." He drew the cover off the tray and presented the chocolate dessert filled glasses to them.
"Oh, wow!" Finnian beamed. "They look so good!"
"Nice job, Sebbie, couldn't have done it better myself!" Bard complimented as he grinned around a cigarette.
The butler twitched at the irritating nickname that Grell had spread but simply smiled and said, "I know you couldn't. Which is why I did."
Bard balked at that.
Meyrin blushed and murmured about it being proof that Sebastian cared for her.
As usual, Snake stood quietly and stiffly in a corner petting one of his many snakes; in this case, Keats.
While the other three began digging into their treats with enthusiasm, Snake stared at his as if it would bite him.
Finny was the first to notice. He moved over to the pale teen, bumping his hip playfully against Snake's to get his attention.
"Don't you like chocolate?" Finny asked with a pleasant smile.
"I've never had it," Snake shrugged as a serpent slid onto his head. "Says Emily."
"Don't you want to try? Just a little taste?" Finny urged. "I assure you it is quite good and Sebastian is a superb baker."
"A taste," Snake tilted his head. "Asks Emily."
"Yeah," Finny got a spoonful and smiled at Snake. "Say 'Ah'"
Snake considered for a moment then leaned in while Finny's mouth was still open. His tongue slipped into Finny's mouth exploring and tasting. Finny's eyes went wide and he dropped his spoon. It clattered across the floor splattering chocolate every which way.
Snake continued his exploration heedlessly, finally he pulled back. He licked his lips.
"mmmmmm."
Finny blushed. "That's not what I meant but...did you like it...?"
"It's sweet, says Oscar," Said snake was tasting the air near the chocolate on the spoon. "I like Finny better."
Finny blushed; unsure if Snake was saying that or Oscar or even what they meant by that.
Snake licked Finny's cheek affectionately before picking up his snake and the discarded spoon; the latter being tossed in the sink. He took the spoon from the dessert meant for him and scooped some from Finny's half empty glass.
"Say 'Ah'," He smiled.
Finny blushed and nodded.
