„Bye, Honey!", Dad said. „Bye John", uncle Sherl replied. „I was talking to my daughter!", Dad told him, clearly annoyed, while mom was giggling. „Bye Dad", I said, hugging him. „I'll pick her up tomorrow", Mom said. Uncle Sherl nodded. „I'll take good care of her. Have fun you two!" Dad still seemed uncomfortable, even though they had left me at uncle Sherl's place for a couple of times already. „Even if Moriarty himself calls you: Do. Not. Leave. My. Daughter. Alone. Okay?" Uncle Sherl nodded and rolled his eyes. „At your wedding I promised to always be there for the three of you, remember?" Dad smiled. „Okay then. Good night Sherlock. Good night Rachel!" So they left Baker Street. I like uncle Sherl, he always tells me stories about the adventures he and dad used to go on. Even though the story about the Hound was very terrifying. I have been scared of dogs ever since, Dad still doesn't know about it. And uncle Sherl plays the violin for me. I like the song he wrote for mom and dad when they got married. Everytime I'm here, he plays it when it's bedtime for me. Dad still wonders why uncle Sherl has no problems with making me go to bed. So, once again it was just the two of us. We sat down in the living room, I took my place in dad's old armchair. „Uncle Sherl, what is a Moriarty?"
I never had a problem with answering Rachel's questions. This one was different. I never had a problem telling her about our cases, no matter how bloody or disgusting, and she seemed to like it. But how do you explain a person like Moriarty to a little girl?" I tried, though. „Moriarty is an old... friend of mine. We used to work together." „So he was like Lestrade?", Rachel asked. I smiled. „No, not like Lestrade. Much smarter." Oh, my dear, you have no clue how much smarter after all... Rachel was thinking for a moment. „So... more like Molly?" I laughed a little. „Well, he and Molly were dating for a while." That seemed to be exciting news for her. „He must be really cool then! Can I meet him uncle Sherl? Dad said he might be calling you tonight! Are we going to meet him?" „I'm afraid you won't get to meet , my dear miss Watson. But he is cool indeed. I like his taste in music."
