They lie there, tangled in a sea of blankets and sweat. Sora's hand has somehow managed to migrate itself to rest over Riku's nose, and most of him is lying on top of his silver-haired boyfriend anyway. Riku is snoring- he doesn't like to admit it, but he does. Sora is the only one that knows this, just like Riku is the only one that knows about the way Sora grabs hold of people in his sleep, possessing them, afraid of them leaving him. But Riku knows that he could never leave Sora, not in a million years.

Sora is sighing Riku's name in his sleep. It's more of a contented mumble, really, and if Riku were awake he would probably just lie there and smirk, knowing that his Sora was dreaming about him. It's things like this that make Riku happy, because Riku is most happy when Sora is there, when Sora is thinking of him. It's sort of a shame that Riku's asleep; but then again, he's happy enough where he is, lying in a contented bubble of sleep and Sora.

Sora is dreaming about first kisses under the moonlit sky, sea-salt ice cream and the way Riku's hand fit perfectly in his. He's dreaming about the way Riku's lips glide over his, the way he sighs Sora's name when he needs to take a breath. He's dreaming about the warmth courses through his body when Riku touches him, when Riku smiles. Overall, he's just dreaming of Riku.

And that is the knowledge that would make them both the happiest.

A/N: Here you are; the result of five minutes boredom and too much sugar. Note to self: never eat chocolate fish before bed EVER AGAIN.

So... I don't own these guys- hell, I don't even own my own bed. Sora and Riku are all the property of Square Enix, which so far has not approved my Proof of Ownership papers (a bit of old refill with my claim written on in crayon). And I'm sorry if something doesn't make sense to you.

Until next time,

Karma out.
