Today will be a great day for me and Lexi. Because we're going to see Tommy and his mom and we're going to the park. We just arrived next door to ask if they were ready. They said they were both ready. Tommy's mom said she will drive. During the car ride, Lexi and Tommy were talking to each other. "So who did you bring with you?" Tommy asks.

"This grey kitty is Peppa and this froggy is George," Lexi says.

"But they're not pigs," Tommy tells Lexi.

"Mommy! Tommy made fun of my animals because they're not pigs," Lexi shouts.

Tommy's mom laughs. "It's not funny," I tell her.

"That cat isn't Peppa Pig. It's Peppa Cat," Tommy teases Lexi.

"Tommy, Lexi likes to pretend they're pigs," I tell Tommy.

"Oh! I like pretending," Tommy tells Lexi, starting to understand.

"We can play with them when we get to the park. Do you want Peppa or George?" Lexi asks.

"I'm a boy, so I'll take George," says Tommy.

"Okay. Just make sure you give him back," Lexi says.

Then we were at the park. The kids went by the sand box. And Tommy's mom and I watch the children on the swing set. I can tell that Lexi and Tommy notice their friends, Faye, Tessa, and Kendra in the sand box. I know that because Lexi took Tommy under the slide. "How come we can't play with Faye?" Tommy asks.

"Because she's just going to take my animals away," Lexi tells him.

Then Faye says, "Lexi, Tommy, do you wanna play with us?"

"No! We wanna by our own," Lexi whines.

I know Faye noticed Lexi's animals. She says, "I have an idea!"

So then Faye takes Peppa away from Lexi. "No! That's mine!" Lexi wails.

"Hello Peppa. You look very hungry. Here's some sand," Faye says.

And then Faye dumps sand on Peppa. I wasn't too happy to see and hear this behavior. Then Faye takes George away from Tommy. "No," Tommy whines.

So then the children were throwing sand at Lexi's stuffed animals. "Stop it, Faye!" Lexi wails.

"No! Peppa drank pee and George ate poop!" Faye laughs.

Then Tommy starts laughing. "It's not funny, Tommy! Faye is being mean," Lexi says.

Then Faye gives George to Kendra and they take their clothes off of Lexi's animals. "That's it, Tommy! Let's go tell our mommies!" Lexi wails.

So then the children run to me and Tommy's mom. "What's wrong, Lexi?" I ask her.

"Mommy, Faye, Tessa, and Kendra took Peppa away from me and George away from Tommy," Lexi tells me.

"You know what? We saw and heard everything! Do you want us to stop them now?" I ask my little girl.

"Yes!" Lexi cries.

Tommy's mom and I go over to the children who were being mean to my daughter. "Stop misbehaving right now!" I command.

"And put the red dress back on Peppa and the pink sock back on George!" Lexi yells.

So then Kendra puts Peppa's dress back on backwards. "Stop! You're putting it on backwards!" Lexi whines.

"Lexi Harper! Cut it out!" Tommy's mom shouts.

"You know what? What I just said wasn't smart. I'll just give the animals to Lexi," I say, giving everything to Lexi.

So then Lexi puts the dress back on Peppa okay, but she felt something in the sock, so she dumped sand out of it. "Hey! Who filled the sock up with sand?!" I ask firmly.

"Faye," Tessa says.

But Tommy's mom puts the sock back on George, but stuffed his arms in it. Then Lexi takes his arms out of it. "Yeah. Lexi wants his arms sticking out of the sock," I tell Tommy's mom.

And then the children found a different place to play and Tommy's mom and I watched them on the bench for the rest of the afternoon.
