A/N Cloudy days and ill-health make me all poetic.
sarcasm is her facade,
because
nobody can get to you
if you are behind a wall.
she murmurs innuendo in his ear
it hides
how she really
feels.
she kisses to
disarm.
after a while she
loses
herself in the illusion.
what is real and what's emotion?
her smile,
slowly,
becomes genuine.
the demon found a place to hide.
it isn't behind walls of
words,
this time.
instead, she lives with an
angel
who is infinitely better than her,
and yet,
infinitely more evil.
that doesn't stop her from loving him the same way she knows
he loves
her.
