My Mabinogi Life...
**Mabinogi is an MMORPG...therefore it isn't a real story.**
**This will be chapter by chapter of my life in Mabi and part of it in real life**

Chapter 1
My friend Monica told me one day that she was addicted to this game called Mabinogi.
Apparently she has been playing it for more than a year. Since only one of her friends played she
decided to ask a few chosen people who she thought were worthy of the game. I was one of them.
I had no interest in those kind of games and I didn't want to become a nerd who hides behind a
screen everyday, living a life on the internet instead of socializing with real people. I mean... I was
already addicted with the computer and I didn't really hang out with others. (No offense computer
people! I LOVE YOU! lol)
Monica, being such a persistent person, asked me everyday if I even download this game. I said
"No!" to her nine times before I finally decided to play... just to get her off my back.
At home I found the website and downloaded Mabinogi. It took about an hour and I thought,
"What a waste of time. I could be watching You're Beautiful*!"
I didn't dare to stop the download because Monica told me it would just take longer and longer.
I will admit though I did love using the computer to read manga or to watch animes and such, but I
never played a game like Mabi*.
About an hour later it was finally done. I clicked a large rectangular box with the words, "Start
Game" on it. Seconds later an amazing animation appeared on my screen with two more buttons on a
small box in the middle of it. I clicked another one which led into the game.
After I made a character and had difficulty choosing what name it should be, I settled on
Cuddlycat and clicked the Ruairi server. This direction of course was given to me by Monica. She gave
me a small paper with everything to do. The next thing I knew, I was in a white room with the symbol
in the center. Since nothing happened in the next few seconds I walked to the Mabi symbol. A blinding
flash of white light flashed and a pretty young girl with white hair and a black dress appeared right in
front of me. The first words out of her mouth were, "Welcome to the world of Mabinogi." My life in
Mabi has finally begun.
