Ok, I'm talking too much! XD Hope you enjoy reading the story! xoxo
I arrived at her house at ten a clock at night. All clan was sleeping, but I knew she would be awake. I walk to her room and find the door closed. I knock one, two, three times and received no answer, so I decided to get in.
"Miles?"
I whisper while entering the room. I can't see anything, so I turn on the lights. The room is a complete mess! I'm looking for her when I spot her sitting in her bed, against the headboard and staring at the window.
"Miles?" I call her again. This time she turns her face to me.
"Nick! Sorry, I didn't hear you come in…."
"It's ok. I've come to check on you. How are you, baby?" I ask sitting in the bed, facing her.
"Have been better… But I'm handling…" She says, while looking down at her hands.
"You know I'm here, right? For whatever you need." I take her hand in mine and stroke my thumb in the back of her hand.
"I know, Nick, and I appreciate, but right now I just want to be alone." She torn her hand from mine and put it back on her lap, looking again through the window.
"You're not alright, Mi… Have you cried yet?"
"What kind of question is that?" She looks at me and I know I've got her. Her face is red with angry and she've started to become defensive.
"You haven't, have you? Mi, its ok to cry! You father just died. You don't have to be strong all the time!"
"Geez, thanks for telling me what I already know, Capitan Obvious! I know my father just died! Now that you told me that valuable information, you may leave." She is now at the door, pointing me the exit.
"Mi, I'm just trying to help you. You know you can't keep this all bottle it up inside, you have to let it out! Otherwise, you're going to explode." I'm now facing her, in front of the door.
"So cute, you acting like you know me! But guess what? You don't! I'm not the girl you used to know, Nicky. You don't have a clue of what I'm feeling! Much less of what I have or not have to do! Now, please Nicky, get out of my house!"
"-No"
"-What? What do you mean no?"
"-I mean that I'm not leaving until you recognize that you're not ok!" I walk to her and close the door. Now I'm standing between her and the door.
"-Of course I'm not ok! My father just died! But you've nothing to do with me being ok or not! You've no business here!"
"-I'm not leaving, Mi."
"-Stop calling me Mi!"
"-Mi, stop fighting… "
"-Fine! If you aren't going to leave, I'll!" She tries to live, but I don't let her.
"-Nick, get out of my way. She tries to push me out of the way."
"-No! You're not leaving into we talk about this."
"-There's nothing to talk about! Now move!" She starts to punch my chest
"-Mi, please…"
"-Let me through!" She screams, still hitting my chest.
"-Please… Let me leave…" She whispers increasing the hits.
"-Please… I can't take it… " She starts sobbing
"-Shhh, it's okay. I've got you, Mi "
I embrace her and we stood there, while she finally let it out. After a while she starts to stop, so I lead her to the bed. We lay down and I embrace her again.
"-It hurts so much… I find it hard to breathe… "
"-It's normal, Mi. But it gets better, I can assure you that. I'll be there for you all the way. " I kiss the top of her head.
"-Thank you, Nick. Thank you for tearing down my walls."
"-Someone had to do it, right!" She smiled. It was a small smile, but was the first real smile that I've seen since it happened.
"-Go to sleep, baby. You're tired."
"-Goodnight, prince charming."
"-Goodnight, my girl."
