After Kurt opened his present from Finn, all he could do was stare.
Inside the seemingly innocent garment box, was something so heinous, so terrifying, that it made Kurt want to run from the Hummel-Hudson's festively decorated family room. Inside the box...was a t-shirt. A cheap, red, air-brushed t-shirt that said one word in black font written across the chest.
FURT
Finn practically bounced in his seat, excited grin on his face.
"Isn't it great? I got one too! We can match!" He said, while holding up his matching shirt.
Kurt said nothing, only looking up, and trying very hard to mask the horror he felt from his face.
Finn, feeling proud of himself for making Kurt speechless from his awesomely awesome Brotherly gift, continued on.
"See? I know how to make a 'Fashion Statement' Kurt! This one says, 'Hey, look! This is my brother! We're Furt now! Practically one person!'
His bow furrowed after saying that.
"Well, one in a -that's-so-cool-to-be-bros way, not in the mutant-experiment-gone-wrong- kinda way." Kurt, finally thinking of something to say that wouldn't hurt Finn's feeling, said, "Thank you for the thoughtful gift, Finn. It really is the thought that counts."
He then smiled his best stage smile, while proceeding to think of an "accident" that would involve burning both shirts at once.
Brotherly love was one thing, but crimes against fashion had to be delt with.
