Riddler's best friend

I was very board one day, so I wrote this strange story. Hope you like, it's just a bit of fluff. So the Riddler and Conundrum come home to find they have a little present left for them by Jester. Only one question remains: What's in the box?

The Riddler's best friend.

Edward walked into his hideout ,Conundrum not far behind him.

Edward hung his jacket and his hat on his coat peg, Conundrum doing the same.

They then both walked into the living room and saw a small purple box with green ribbon wrapped around it.

Edward looked at Conundrum who looked back at him.

There was a small note next to the box. Edward picked it up and read it out loud.

Hey you two.

Hope you're looking after yourself's.

I saw him and thought of you.

Hope you like.

Hope to see you soon.

Love: Jester.

Edward looked at Conundrum and raised an eyebrow. "Do you know what it is?" he asked.

Conundrum shrugged. "Have no idea."

Edward bit his lip, then he began to slowly unwrap the gift.

As he went to lift the lid, a small bark came from the box. Which made both of them jump.

Edward and Conundrum looked at each other. Then Conundrum slowly lifted the lid and was greeted by a very happy husky puppy.

He was a white husky with bright blue eyes. Then Conundrum spotted a black mark on him and she realised why Jester had brought him for them. "Uncle look! On his back. Look at his black mark." said Conundrum pointing.

Edward looked, saw the mark and began to smile.

On the back of the husky puppy was a black mark in the shape of a question mark.

Edward slowly lifted the little puppy out of the box and placed him on the floor.

Conundrum grinned. "He's soooooo cute!" she squeaked.

Edward nodded. "The mark on his back is just perfect for us." he said watching the little puppy.

Then a bat flew from the rafters. The puppy saw it, jumped up, caught it in it's mouth and shook it. Killing it instantly.

Edward and Conundrum grinned.

He was perfect.
