Duo wiped at the tears streaming down his face.
" I give up Heero, I'm not going through anymore of this shit. I'm out of here…"
The pilot of the Deathscythe growled icily. He slammed the door behind him, leaving the perfect soldier alone in the disheveled room.
Even a lover makes a mistake sometimes
Like any other
Fall out and lose his mind
And I'm sorry for the things I did

Weeks slipped by and Duo and Heero remained distanced from each other.
" I know they care about each other, I hope they make up soon."
A worried Quatre said to his koi. Trowa nodded, grateful to have his lover near to him, but feeling sorrowful for his friends.

Heero walked into his quiet apartment, always expecting to hear a familiar voice and see a familiar form bounding over to him. But it hadn't been like that, not for weeks.
" I don't need the baka."
He always assured himself as he sat in his room in silence. But he knew the words to be false, and his heart was aching, his feeling's regretful for the things he had said and done.
Whatever happened

Duo plopped down onto his bed in his own apartment, his room in upheaval. There was no stern voice to always reprimand him to clean up, there hadn't been one for weeks. He wiped the tears away once again as he stared longingly at the picture on his nightstand.

Heero walked out of his apartment and began walking briskly down the street. At the same time Duo was walking solemnly down his street without any real destination.
I'd do anything to make it up to you
So please understand
And open your heart once again
Both heads down they didn't see each other and collided.
" Baka."
Heero muttered as he continued on,
" Heero?"
Duo stammered, they both stopped and whirled around to face each other. They came together and Duo couldn't contain the eager smile that appeared on his face. Heero could feel his heart aching again.
" I was coming to look for you."
He stated simply.

" Y…you were?"
His koi stammered again.
" Hai,"
Heero said, pulling Duo tightly to his chest.
" Because without you I would fall apart…"
He finished and Duo could feel the tears stream down as his voice caught in his throat. He felt Heero wrap his arms around him strongly and kiss him as they had both yearned to do for weeks.
