This is my first High School Musical fic. It's a 3-shot based on the possibility of the RyanGabriellaTroy love triangle that was slightly visible in the second movie. First up, Ryan's POV. Sorry if it's a little OOC. This is my first writing him. Enjoy!

I guess I've got it good. I have money, talent, an all right singing voice, and an interesting acting career. My house is huge, I've got an inheritance of a great country club, my parents are nice and they love me, and my sister has her moments.
I'm pretty happy with my life. There's just one thing missing. The one thing that I don't have – can't have.
Her.
She's the nicest person I've ever met. She invited me to the baseball game when the others still thought I was Sharpay's spy. She believed I could help the Wildcats win the show from my sister. She made me feel like a friend.
So I fell for Gabriella. Accidentally, of course. But I did.
She's beautiful, smart, sweet, and…
And it's too bad that the most perfect girls come complete with perfect boyfriends. Not-so-perfect in Troy's case. I don't know what would possess him to pick playing basketball with college guys over hanging out with her. I would never.
She covered up her disappointment with Troy by sticking up for him. I could tell she was hurt though. The one thing I wanted more than the world was to comfort her. Wrap my arms around her and murmur that everything would be okay. But I didn't.
She loves Troy.
I just wish it were me instead.
