A/N: Hey readers, I fancied trying to write a descriptive story to do with the Titanic. It's about a 2nd class passenger at several points during his journey. Written in third person. Enjoy!

Boarding the Titanic

He tugged and straightened his waistcoat before making an appearance to those strolling along the promenade. Tightening his grip around his suitcase, he took in a deep breath of sea air. He made one step. Paused. He continued walking with an air of confidence about him. There are people swiftly walking around him; children laughing and running. He comes to a halt, taking in the sheer size of the Titanic, dazzling in all its' glory.

In accommodation

He settles down easily enough; suitcase on an armchair, a pair of boots under the iron frame of his fine-linen bed. He takes his book; a journal perhaps, picks up his ink pot and pen and starts writing: "Dear diary, today I boarded the grand ship Titanic for the first time..." He continues scribing for some time before blowing out the candle on his bedside table, and drifting into a deep sleep.

Evening Entertainment

That evening, he went to a fine dining restaurant, the magnificence of the atmosphere hitting him like a blow to the head. He looked down at the cutlery shimmering in the light of the chandeliers; so intricately made, yet not designed for any greater use. He peered around the dining lounge, continuing to listen to the orchestra playing soothing music.

A/N: That's it folks. Sorry this story is so short, but it was only supposed to be a short descriptive piece. I will leave the 'imagining- the- in-between- scenes' part to you, but if you think I should write another story based on this, I'd be glad to. Hope you enjoyed it, and reviews are always welcome.
