I'm so sorry Sesshoumaru. I didn't want to share this feeling with you. This feeling of hopelessness. This feeling of sadness. The feeling you get when you are near DEATH. I had to lie to you. I had to talk to kagura ……I had been planning THAT act. To make my lies more realistic. I knew you wouldn't just believe me…I had to use people….who I cherished…Kouga….
She felt her heart beat cease for a moment.
She closed her eyes then opened them.
Tears fell from her eyes.
She looked around the room.
Her friends and family surrounding her.
Their heads bowed. The feeling of anguish written on their faces.
THIS IS WHY. This is clearly the reason she had to lie to him.
She can't bear to see his expressions. His eyes that showed all his emotions.
And now, I can't even see his blank face.
Did I do the right thing?
She tried to sit upright. But her body won't move.
Sesshoumaru!
She couldn't see a thing.
She felt alone and cold.
She held out her hand. And called her best friend.
"Sa….ngo"
"Kagome! No! Don't talk anymore!" sango went to her side. On her knees, she cried.
"D-d-don't c-c-ry.."
"I am going to call him right now!"
"NO!"
"But kagome!"
My body is feeling heavy now..my eye lids…just want to shut.
"Kou..ga.. I'm…sorry." She looked at him, their eyes met. Kouga just bowed his head lower and a teardrop….fell.
"Ka…gu…ra.."
"No!!! Kagome!!! What are you saying!! Are you saying your goodbyes! No!" kagura yelled and broke to hysterics.
Kagome couldn't take it. She cried.
She was not ready to die.
"Mama! Grandpa! Souta! Everyone!" she called out…using every strength she has.
The people around her…couldn't look at her.
"Inu…yasha…." The said boy didn't have the strength to even acknowledge the call.
The time..has come…So sorry.
She closed her eyes.
Her arms got limp.

And in a very silent voice….she said. "Call….Ses…shou….maru."
She left the living….thinking.
"I was so late."
a/n. Her ya go! This is the prequel….well…it's like kagome's POV..before she promised…though..it took a very long time..for me to get inspired again. Sigh…..well..this story is complete…..if..an idea..doesn't knock on my head. But…yeah..this is complete…no more sequel of what will happen to sesshoumaru…I don't want him to meet another girl…and that…so I'll end it here…what will happen to sesshoumaru is up to you!
