Kinda sucks this Lion Guard series will end on a sour note
I mean we now need to explain why Kion and his friends aren't in LK 2
The way I see it, we have two explanations.
1) Kion left the Pridelands because reasons
2) Kion dies
I believe the 2nd seems more logical, as there's evidence in the more that may support it. Simba is overprotective of Kiara, this could be because of the death of her little brother. Also, we have two suspects that may be the murder. Zira and Janja.
Once upon a time TLK fans theorized Zira killed the now non-cannon Kopa, which led to her banishment. So all we're doing is replacing a nonexistent cub with one that dose exist.
Also, Janja has possible evidence of being Kion's killer. Thanks to Nuka and his "This place is even creepier since the hyenas ran off,"
Again, once upon a time we thought that was just Shenzi and her clan fleeing from Zira. Yet now it could be Janja fleeing from Simba.
Though I'd guess Zira is the more favorable
Anyway you came here for gore and a story. So here you go
The dark clouds above rained down upon the lands, along with the exploding sounds of thunder. As if the great kings of the past were all weeping and roaring in anger at the horrid event that had just taken place
Zira looked over her handiwork, a grin on face. The former queen of the Pridelands proud of what she, Nuka, and her Outlander followers had done
Laying on the ground before her was Kion, the second born of Simba and Nala. His guts clawed out, along with his head decapitated from a fierce bite from her. This cub reminded Zira so much of his father, the one she swore revenge on for the death of her beloved.
Nuka had never seen her mother in such a way before. Filled with some twisted combination of anger and joy at the same time. It nearly made him barf
The rest of Kion's Lion Guard also lay dead here, each brutally maimed just like Kion.
"Hehe," Zira chuckled, soon becoming a maddening laugh "Hahahahaha! Yes! Do you see Scar!? My beloved I shall avenge you yet!"
"Isn't this our revenge against Simba mother?" Nuka asked
"Oh Nuka,"Zira said putting her paw around her son. She was to happy to get upset by her sons silly questions. "This is only the first step, now with Simba's precocious guard out of the way. Along with that almighty Roar of the Elders. We shall have favorable odds for Kovu once he's grown. Good job of being the bait by the way, you faking an injury led these ignorant children here like moths to a flame,"
"Wow," Nuka thought surprised "Mom's proud of me,"
With that Zira and her followers returned to the Outlands
"My only regret is not being here to see Simba and his family weep over the loss of a loved one. Just like I did over Scar. An eye for an eye...for now,'"
The end
