A Little Help Never Hurt
Kagome sat watching Sesshomaru. He had been struggling all night and was not faring well. He had just learned this last week and refused to have her help him, even though she had more experience than him. Stupid male pride. Really, there was nothing wrong with letting a girl help you out once in a while.
Even though he kept his stoic mask in place, she knew he wasn't sure what to do. She finally decided to go over and help him even if he did get mad. Looking at the table, then at his hand, she leaned over and whispered in his ear, "I'd go all in and go for the straight. But that's just me."
"I'm all in." Sesshomaru said as he pushed his meager chips into the pot.
"Read them and weep. Three of a kind." Miroku said turning over his cards flamboyantly.
"And I have a straight." Sesshomaru replied turning his cards over and reaching for the pot.
"That's the best hand you've had all night. Nice job, even though Kagome helped you."
"She merely gave me some advice that I decided to take."
"Whatever." Inuyasha said as Sango dealt the cards for the next game.
