A/N This was a headcanon for Beatrice Troughton :) Hope you enjoy :D
"Oi! We've booked the pitch!"
Beatrice looked down from her broom and saw the Gryffindor team glaring up at them. Wait, Gryffindor?
"Fred!" she shouted and flew down to see her new boyfriend. They'd been going out for two weeks and Beatrice was ecstatic. She'd known Fred for five years since they both started at Hogwarts and she was one of the few people that could tell him and George apart.
"Bea!" Fred shouted back, realising who it was. When she got there she hovered just above the ground and gave Fred a kiss.
"Excuse me, Fred," Oliver Wood snapped. "Please stay focussed on the task at hand." Fred helped Beatrice down off her broom and put his arm around her shoulder.
"Fine, that will do," Oliver said, annoyed. "We booked the pitch today, not Slytherin."
"We have a note from Snape," said Marcus Flint who landed at that point. He pulled a crumpled piece of parchment out of his pocket and thrust it at Oliver.
"I, Professor Snape, give permission for Slytherin to use the Quidditch pitch this evening," Oliver read. "But this doesn't say why."
"Because our Seeker is easily distracted,"
Beatrice and Fred were gazing at each other and not paying any attention to the conversation.
"There you go," Flint said, gesturing to the couple. "Proves my point exactly,"
"What?" Beatrice turned to Flint. Marcus sighed.
"I was just telling Wood how easily distracted you were," he said.
"I am not easily distracted!" Beatrice said indignantly. Marcus rolled his eyes.
"Anyway, we have the pitch, so goodbye." Marcus turned and started to head back to the middle of the pitch.
"Wait!" Oliver called and raised his arm to stop Marcus, but Fred grabbed his arm. Marcus turned and gave the Gryffindor team an enquiring look.
"Don't worry," said Fred. "We'll come back in an hour." He looked at Beatrice and smiled. "Their Seeker needs the practice." He winked at Beatrice and she hit him playfully.
"Thanks, Fred. Love you too!" she said, smiling up at him.
"No problem, Bea," he replied. Oliver coughed, starting to get impatient with Fred.
"Okay, fine," he said. "Just this once." Oliver stalked off. Fred gave Beatrice a kiss on the nose and ran after him.
"This is the only time that I'm grateful that your boyfriend is on the Gryffindor team," Marcus said, walking up behind her. "Now, back to practising,"
Beatrice beamed and kicked off the ground.
