My small yellow paws hit the ground with soft thuds, my brown eyes sweeped through this strange forest. My black tipped ears do not hear the formilliar cries from the creatures of home. Right as my brown striped back contures, ready for a jump, a strong gale whips me from my position. I scrape for the ground with dread, my kind wheren't built for flight! My horrified heart beats uncontrolably "Piiii!" I hear my frightened squeal deathly as the roar of the winds that rip around me starts to highten.
A branch flew past me, my mouth opened and the branch was grasped between my small sharp teeth. My small arms gasped hold on it so I realeased my jaws, the rest of my body fluttered in the gale behind me. I then worked my way to the thickest part of the branch and hopped onto it. Underneath my bright coat my heart was a fury of pumping beats, my gaze turned to the sky, now none of the pleasent blue which was shone through the thickness of the dark grey storm clouds.
Lightning spidered across the clouds, making a loud thundering boom all the while. A deep pulse rippled through my body by the sight, my oddly shaped tail rose to the sky and I could feel the ghostly blue glow emerge from my eyes. One of the spidering lighting bolts turned tail and headed my way. It struck a near by branch and caught it aflame. The heat drove me from the tree limbs and onto the ground.
My fur was starting to singe as the flames lept from tree to tree, the creatures of the forest fled in terror, The whole forest was soon alight in fires, smoke rose from the trees and into the sky, but the down pour the clouds promised never came. More and more beings came from the trees and bushes, they pushed and shoved in panic. I could hear the thundering roar of their hearts and feel the ground tremble as others paws and hooves barrled past. A stong creature passed by me, it's force sent my flying off course, into a ditch my the road.
Pain jolted up my arm "CHUUU!!!!!" I cried. The pain made me weep, it seemed to split my head in two. I looked over at my right paw, the normally bright yellow fur was doused with scarlet blood. I could see the bloody bone pokking out of the flesh in my arm. My breathing turned harsh as the smoke made my throat feel like a gravel path. I could feel the blood start to pool around me, soaking my stomach and chest. The ground started to turn muddy with blood as my vision blurred. I felt cold, I began seeing forms of ghosts, 'no, this can't be!' The circled me, calling out to me, and grabbing for my body. I closed my eyes in fear but, my heart didn't beat fast, in fact it slowed till I could no longer feel it. "Pika......chu......"
