Chapter 1: Hide and Seek
Eyes, black tunnels, burned into me, into my very soul, I stood frozen in fear. My stomach dropped, as the cold metal, caressed my cheek. I pleaded for him to let me go, promised I'd do whatever he asked, but his grin only widened, enjoying every minute of my despair. "My dear, the world is dyed with the color of blood. It will never be able to go back to the way it was before, even if I spare your life," he whispered softly into my ear.
I let out a silent scream as the blade dug into my flesh, carving a Cheshire grin, upon my face. I watched in revulsion as he brought the knife to his lips, licking the crimson blood, from the blade. "Go to sleep," the words echoed in my ears as he brought the blade down piercing my heart.

Woman found dead behind a local convinient store. Her body was later identified as 16 year old, Layla Evans. She was confirmed dead at approximately 3 A.M. this morning. Police currently have little to no leads and are asking if the public has any information on the case that it be brought forward immediately.
