Every morning was a blessing to wake up to the most beautiful woman in the whole universe; even if she didn't agree with him half the time. His hands gently ran down her side as one of them came to rest on the growing bump on her stomach. His lips turned into a small smile as the thought of being a father once again just made him want to scream to the world of his happiness but sometimes you have to make sacrifices now and then just to hold the excitement at bay.
The slightest of kicks were felt on his hand as he smiled and felt another hand reach over to his. "You feel that?" Katerina asked as she looked to him, smiling before looking down to her baby bump. "I sure did! Looks like he wants' to say hi." Kaidan said, chuckling away.
After much discussion and thought they both agreed on a name for the little one. Ryan Alenko, named after Katerina's father. There were a few dripped tears on the decision but it was a very special one indeed.
Another kick is felt as they both smile. "He really is excited in there!" Kaidan jokes as he leans across and places a kiss on Katerina's lips. "I love you and our precious family. I never thought I would see this day and now... I couldn't picture it any other way without you."
They both place their arms around each other as Kaidan looks over her shoulder towards the bedroom door, seeing his daughter Katherine standing there. He waves her over as she runs towards them, a big smile caressing her lips as she buries herself in the middle of them both before Kaidan grabbed her and started to tickle her stomach while erupted a loud but adorable giggle from his little girl. Life... was bliss.
