A/N:Hey I thought you may like this, I'm just waiting on finishing the chapter from lonely(if you read it)and thought while it was fresh in my mind and if you read lonely, I have some fresh ideas for it.

Pina Colada

Marriage. Love, commitment and trust, that is what Kai thought marriage was about. "But what if marriage lost its texture, its meaning? Is it still worth fighting?" Kai thought to himself. He and Hilary had a good run… But is it time to call it quits.

I was tired of my lady, we'd been together too long.
Like a worn-out recording, of a favourite song.
So while she lay there sleeping, I read the paper in bed.
And in the personals column, there was this letter I read:

Kai glanced at the clock, it read 9:30 pm. Kai, getting bored, decided to start reading the days paper, he turned to the personals, but since the personals wasn't Kai's thing, he was about to turn the page, until he saw something that sparked his interest.

"If you like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
If you're not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain.
If you like making love at midnight, in the dunes of the cape.
I'm the lady you've looked for, write to me, and escape."

As Hilary slept, Kai looked at her. "Five years of marriage, but what if there was no love and trust? Am I willing to throw it down the drain?" Kai thought silently.

I didn't think about my lady, I know that sounds kind of mean.
But me and my old lady, had fallen into the same old dull routine.
So I wrote to the paper, took out a personal ad.
And though I'm nobody's poet, I thought it wasn't half-bad.

Kai wrote to the paper, hoping that he'll find someone new and exciting, especially the lady whose ad he read.

"Yes, I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne.
I've got to meet you by tomorrow noon, and cut through all this red tape.
At a bar called O'Malley's, where we'll plan our escape."

So Kai couldn't sleep the night before the meeting, he was so nervous, yet excited. A new life, a new beginning and a new end to a marriage, with that thought he slumped. He might be leaving but he did have a heart and felt sorry for Hilary because he knew it would break her heart, but he also knew she would understand.

So I waited with high hopes, then she walked in the place.
I knew her smile in an instant, I knew the curve of her face.
It was my own lovely lady, and she said, "Oh, it's you."
And we laughed for a moment, and I said, "I never knew"...

Kai couldn't believe his eyes. When she walked in, he knew who it was. Hilary walked through the door, she saw him and her eyes widened. She sat down and they both laughed for a bit. "Well this is a strange isn't it?" she asked. "I never knew…"
