As the description says, this is a very romantic one shot between Tony and Jeannie that was added due to a suggestion that one of my dear reviewers posted in the comments of my current episode Monkey Business which will continued to be worked on after this story takes place.
Tony sat on top of Jeannie's bedside holding her hand and gently rubbing his thumb along the back of it. "Jeannie, I don't know if whether or not you can hear me but I just want to let you know how much I miss you. It just isn't the same without you anymore." He whispered softly with a sniff. "You know, I remember when I first found you on that bottle that I picked up on the beach. I really didn't think that I needed you." He told her with a shake of his head and another sniff as tears continued rolling down his cheeks.
"Well it turned out that I was right. I didn't need you. You were the one who needed me. For after two thousand years of being cooped up inside that bottle and being forced to stay there until somebody rescued you, you needed someone that would love and care for you. Now you have so many people who do." He told her while he leaned over to her and planted a soft and tender kiss upon her lips.
"I love you so much Jeannie. You're my beautiful bride and you're about to become a beautiful mother. I know that someday that your father will call for you, but not now." Tony told her with another sniff while the tears continued rolling down his cheeks and dropping down onto his lap. "Don't you see darling? Right now we need you down here even more.
For I remember all those times that you got me in trouble, but the thing is that you were always around to get me out of it again. I just don't know where I'd be if it wasn't for you. You've not only made me feel so much happier in my life but just look what you've done for Roger. He was an only child but now you made him a brother and you're about to make him an uncle.
If we never met that wouldn't have been possible. And if we never met I don't think that I would have had the time to be a father. For my priorities always lied with me being a bachelor. But that all changed the day I met you. I thought I was in love with Melissa, but I didn't even realize what it was like to love somebody as much as I love you. Please, please I beg of you, don't leave me Jeannie. I'm not ready yet!" he sobbed. "I'm not ready to let go! And I'm never going to let you go as long as I live." He told her while he planted another deep and passionate kiss on her lips.
"If somebody has to go I would prefer it to be me. That way at least you wouldn't be lonely and that you would have Roger here to keep you company. I know that he would be there for you to love you and take care of you if somehow I wouldn't be able to anymore. But I'm lost without you Jeannie, and the thought of you not being in my life anymore is a burden too difficult to bear. So please, come back to me Jeannie. Because if I never knew you, I would have never known what it means to be so madly in love with such a beautiful and warm hearted woman as you are." He told her while he squeezed her hand and hung his head miserably.
Sorry, I know this was a bit short. But hopefully it shows how much Tony really does love Jeannie. It's just that a lot of the time I think Roger's and Jeannie's friendship is so freakin adorable that I tend to write more about that. I'll write more about Tony and Jeannie's romance in the future though I promise.
