Fleeting

Inuyasha couldn't feel anything around him at that point in time. All he knew was that Sesshoumaru was in danger and he could save him. So he did the only rational thing he could thing of. He charged at the beast threatening his beloved brother and sliced it to shreads.

His comrades stood shocked as Inuyasha ran to Sesshoumaru's side.

"Are you okay?" he asked, panic inching its way into his voice thickly. Sesshoumaru turned his cold gaze upon his brother, for once seeing Inuyasha as a real person other than an obstacle in his way. His lips turned up slightly in a display of a smile.

"Hai, otouto-chan. Arigatou" he spoke in the same monotone that was characteristic of Sesshoumaru, but it was suddenly softer.

Inuyasha looked over Sesshoumaru. No fatal injuries that could be seen, no deep crimson stains on a perfectly white kimono. No dismemberments.

"I believe you, nii-san" Inuyasha whispered. But he didn't leave his brother's side, even as he smelt his team mates moving further and further away.

Then something happened that neither of them suspected.

Sesshoumaru brought his clawed hand up to cup Inuyasha's pale cheek, deprived of the markings that showed his as a true inu youkai, and bent his head down. His long silver locks fell as a curtain between them and the rest of the world and he breathes calmly upon Inuyasha's lips.

The younger inu was suddenly turning red at the unsuspected intrusion of his personal bubble and he moved to get away. But his cheek was held fast and just as he opened his mouth to ask what in the hell Sesshoumaru's was thinking, his older brother pressed their lips together. He wasted no time in exploring his brothers mouth, probing it relentlessly with his warm, long tongue.

Inuyasha moaned into the kiss. But all to soon the need for air became too great and they parted.

Inuyasha looked up at Sesshoumaru with lust filled eyes, wanting more of what Sesshoumaru would offer. Sesshoumaru just smirked and looked down at his brother's flushed, warm face, while his barely had a tinge of colour to it.

"Until we meet again, otouto" Sesshoumaru whispered deeply onto his lips before disappearing.

Once the warmth from Sesshoumaru's body heat was gone, Inuyasha touched his lips lightly. They still felt tingly, wet and warm, the taste of Sesshoumaru on them, strong.

The young inu smiled. He would make sure they met again, if only for a sweet, fleeting kiss like that.

Fin

So what do you think, finished in about half an hour, so it's pretty stupid. I just needed to vent some romantic stuff and this is what I came up with.
