A/N: In the Holiday Spirit, I give you a Christmas-themed JekyllxDorian one-shot! I've never tried one of these before, so it's a bit of an adventure.
Jekyll hummed as he walked about decorating. Edward was grumbling about 'silly holidays, no fun' but Jekyll was unperturbed. He was not going to let Edward spoil Christmas. Except...
Jekyll sighed.
This was his and Dorian's first Christmas together. And Jekyll had no idea what to give Dorian for Christmas. Really. Dorian was an Immortal. He'd seen pretty much everything there was to see. There was practically nothing Jekyll could give him that he hadn't had before. Dorian may not care, but gift-giving meant a lot to Jekyll. And the fact that Jekyll probably wouldn't be able to give Dorian a Christmas present was heartbreaking.
"There has to be something I can give him." Jekyll murmured while stringing the garland around the banister.
"Just give it up, Henry. You knew this would happen."
"That doesn't make me feel any better, Edward."
"It wasn't supposed to."
Jekyll sighed again. Edward was probably right. Confound it, why did he have to fall in love with an Immortal?
Christmas morning. Jekyll had indeed decided what to give Dorian. He wasn't sure that it was quite appropriate, but still. It was something.
Jekyll went down the stairs. Dorian was already up. He was nearly always up before Jekyll. Jekyll wondered for a moment if Dorian slept as much as a normal person did.
"Good morning, Henry."
"Good morning. Merry Christmas." Jekyll was suddenly nervous about his plan. What if... But he couldn't think about that.
"Merry Christmas. Although, I still don't see what you find to be merry about." Dorian was sardonic once again.
"All sorts of things." Jekyll replied. "I don't suppose you'd be interested in breakfast?" Dorian gave him a look.
"What, no presents? I'm a bit surprised at you."
Jekyll suppressed a smile. "You have to come over here."
Dorian rolled his eyes, but he came over. Jekyll took a deep breath.
Then he kissed Dorian. Dorian's eyes widened, but he didn't pull away. Jekyll had to do that.
"And what was that?" Dorian asked.
"Your Christmas present. I couldn't really think of anything else."
Dorian smiled. "You are the strangest man I have ever met."
"I sincerely doubt that. But thank you anyway."
A/N: Well, I don't know that I liked how this turned out. Tell me what you think?
