"This is going straight to my head." Daniel says as he takes another sip of his beer. That's his first beer and he's not even half done with it.
He is such a geek. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.
He may not be that strong physically, but he has a strength of character most men are sorely lacking. He showed it in the way he handled what happened on Abydos.
Both times.
First, in saving the life of one suicidal, sarcastic Air Force colonel who was hell bent on getting himself killed. Then in saving the life of a young women he didn't know when it would have been so much easier, and safer, to run and save his own ass. Not to mention the fact that my team wouldn't have made it home if it weren't for him. That kinda thing makes a guy grow on ya.
None of it, of course, will stop me from teasing the crap out of him every chance I get. It's what I do. Besides, have to keep him on his toes after all.
