Jackson is my original character, but I don't own CSI.

Some spoilers for the 300th episode, "Frame By Frame!"

And please read and review my previous two stories as well! I really love writing, and hope you all enjoy it as well :)

Even though Nick wasn't in the 300th episode (BOO!), I still loved seeing Greg and Sara. Plus it's been a while since I wrote a story with Jackson and his Aunt Sara. So I thought it would be cool to have Jackson talk to his daddy and Sara after the events in 14x05. Hope you all enjoy...and pretty please review!

Jackson Sanders happily chatted with Mrs. Barbara as they walked into the crime lab. He'd gotten to talk to his Uncle Nicky, who was at FBI training in Quantico, and wanted to tell his daddy about his day.

"Hey, doll," D.B. said as he rounded the corner and saw them.

Barbara smiled and kissed her husband. "Hey! You ready for some lunch?"

"Uncle D.B., where daddy?" Jackson asked.

"He and your Aunt Sara had to put some evidence away. But they should be back any time now."

Sure enough, Greg and Sara came into the lobby. Jackson smiled when he saw them. "Daddy! Aunt Sara!"

"Hey, Jacks!" Greg lifted his happy son into his arms. "How are you?"

"I good! Uncle D.B. an' Mrs. Barbara are gunna have lunch!"

"Well, how about we let them get their lunch, and we get some lunch with Aunt Sara?"

Sara smiled at her dear friend and his son. "I think that's a great idea."

"Yeah!"

A short time later, the three were at Sara's house. Since Nick was in Virginia, his dog Sam was staying with Sara and her dog Hank. So Jackson happily enjoyed lunch and time with the dogs.

"Aunt Sara, has Uncle Nicky called Sam?" Jackson asked as he took a bite of his sandwich.

Sara smiled. "I just talked to him yesterday, and he talked to Sam for a little bit."

"Good! Sam misses Uncle Nicky!"

"Yeah," Greg said as he petted Hank. "But Nick's going to be back soon. Did you tell Aunt Sara about your calendar?"

"Oh, yeah! My nana an' papa gave me a calendar for Christmas, an' daddy help me count how long Uncle Nicky's been away."

"He did?" Sara smiled as Jackson nodded. "That is so cool!"

"Yeah! An' daddy say it only gunna be a while 'fore Uncle Nicky comes home. An' den I can draw him a picture and I show him all da pictures I draw at school!"

Sara smiled sadly, thinking of the case she and the team just closed. She loved how Jackson always made her feel better after the close of a rough case.

"You know what, Jackson? I needed this."

"What, Aunt Sara?"

Sara smiled warmly at her godson. "I needed to smile and just hang out with my good friends."

Greg smiled at his son and best friend. "You make us very happy, Jacks."

Jackson smiled. "I happy too! I wish Uncle Nicky was here, dough."

"But he'll be back soon," Greg assured him.

"Oh, Jackson..." Sara said. "I almost forgot. When I talked to Nick, he said to give you this." She pulled the giggling boy into a hug.

"I love you, Aunt Sara!"

"I love you, too."

Jackson hugged his father. "I love you, daddy!"

"I love you, Jacks."

Hank and Sam rested their heads on Sara's lap. Jackson giggled and petted the dogs. "An' we love Sam an' Hank too!"

Sara and Greg laughed softly. "We've got a pretty cool family, huh?" Greg asked.

"Daddy, we have da bestest! An' you da bestest daddy!"

Greg kissed Jackson's cheek. "You're the best son. I love you."

Sara smiled. "You have a great daddy, Jackson. Maybe...he might teach you to dance." She winked at Greg.

Greg rolled his eyes and smiled, thinking of when they saw the showgirl's headpiece he'd danced in when he was DNA tech.

"Daddy, will you dance wif me?" Jackson innocently asked.

Greg couldn't help but smile. "Only if Aunt Sara dances too."

Sara laughed softly. "Deal."

The End.
